Techman Robot and Tesollo unveil adaptive robotic gripper solution for high-mix manufacturing

March 7, 2026 by David Edwards

Techman Robot Korea, the South Korean subsidiary of global collaborative robot company Techman Robot headquartered in Taiwan, and Tesollo, a South Korean specialist in robotic grippers, will present an articulated, multi-jointed gripper-based automation solution optimized for high-mix, low-volume production environments at the 2026 Smart Factory & Automation Industry Exhibition (Automation World).

Following last year’s teleoperation demo combining a humanoid robot hand and a TM robot arm, the two companies have shifted this year’s exhibition concept to a process-oriented solution that can be directly deployed in industrial sites.

The core of this collaboration is to implement flexible automation required on real manufacturing lines by combining the industrial reliability of collaborative robots with the shape-adaptive grasping technology of articulated grippers. Best Manufacturing and Packaging Automation Companies in 2026

February 27, 2026 by David Edwards

When you look at the factory floors of 2026, you can see that the conversation around industrial technology has moved past the simple question of whether to automate. Today, the real challenge you face is how to integrate intelligence into those systems without making your life more difficult.

You probably already know that the labor market is not getting any easier to navigate, and the demand for higher precision in specialized sectors like food and beverage is only going up. In this landscape, the best manufacturing automation companies are those that prioritize reliability and ease of use over complex, fragile setups.

You need systems that feel like a natural extension of your team rather than a high-maintenance guest in your facility. Whether you are scaling a boutique production line or managing a massive industrial plant, the shift toward software-defined automation means your hardware needs to be as adaptable as the code running it. Tekniker unveils robotic metrology system combining collaborative robots and digital measurement at BIEMH 2026

February 21, 2026 by David Edwards

The combination of collaborative robotics and in-process digital metrology represents a strategic convergence for the manufacturing industry and factories of the future.

On the one hand, collaborative robots make it possible to automate handling and assembly tasks flexibly and safely without the need for physical barriers and, on the other hand, digital metrology integrated into the process means that components can be measured and checked directly in the production line with high precision.

In this context, Spain’s Tekniker technology centre, member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) partnership, with extensive expertise in this set of technologies, will present a solution that brings together automation, high-precision measurement and digitalisation in industrial environments at the next edition of the Biennial International Machine Tool Exhibition (BIEMH). The Rise of Collaborative Robots and Human-Robot Teams in Modern Factories

February 8, 2026 by Sam Francis

Collaborative robots, commonly known as cobots, are reshaping how factories think about automation. Unlike traditional industrial robots that operate in isolated cells, cobots are designed to work safely alongside humans, sharing tasks, spaces, and workflows.

This shift is driven by the need for flexibility, rapid reconfiguration, and higher precision in increasingly complex manufacturing environments.

As cobots take on more delicate and variable tasks, system stability becomes critical. Small deviations in positioning, thermal expansion, or structural alignment can directly affect accuracy and repeatability.
