Doozy Robotics launches global expansion to scale AI-powered humanoid workforce for factories

May 22, 2026 by Sam Francis

Doozy Robotics, the Singapore-based Physical AI humanoid company building autonomous industrial workforces, has announced a coordinated global expansion across the United States, GCC, and Asia, marking its next phase of growth ahead of a planned Series A.

The startup is backed by investors including Cocoon Capital, who have supported the company through a period of great commercial traction.

Founded by Suresh Chandrasekar and Ajmal Thahseen, Doozy is building a vertically integrated ecosystem rather than selling isolated machines. [Read more…] about Doozy Robotics launches global expansion to scale AI-powered humanoid workforce for factories

Humanoid and Schaeffler strike deal to deploy thousands of humanoid robots in factories

May 13, 2026 by David Edwards

Humanoid, a UK-based AI and robotics company, has signed a binding, phased deployment and supply agreement with Schaeffler, a leading motion technology company, to integrate humanoid robots directly into live manufacturing operations.

The first systems go live in Germany before the end of 2026. Humanoid will also purchase actuators from Schaeffler as a preferred supplier.

The agreement is one of the largest disclosed humanoid robot rollouts ever announced and positions Humanoid, founded by Artem Sokolov in 2024, among the youngest companies to secure a large-scale contract at this level. It targets deployment of a four-digit number of wheeled units across Schaeffler’s global facilities by 2032. Tutor Intelligence raises $34 million to scale its AI-powered fleet of warehouse robot workers

December 1, 2025 by David Edwards

Tutor Intelligence, an AI-powered fleet of warehouse robot workers, has announced the close of its $34 million Series A led by Union Square Ventures, bringing the company’s total capital raised to $42 million.

With the new capital, the company will accelerate the commercialization of its state-of-the-art robots, scale its consumer packaged goods fleet, and advance its central robot intelligence platform and research infrastructure to power a suite of new robot form factors and capabilities.

In addition to Union Square Ventures, known for its investments in Twitter, Coinbase, Etsy, and MongoDB; Fundomo, backers of Standard Nuclear, Mercor, Etched, and Atomic Semi, also participated in the round, along with follow-on investment from Neo, which led Tutor’s seed round and has invested in Cursor and Kalshi. Huawei and Festo link up for smart manufacturing and robotics as a service based on 5G slicing

August 31, 2017 by Sam Francis

Huawei has partnered with Festo to jointly explore the 5G network application of manufacturing and to promote the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry with 5G slicing technology.

5G slicing refers to the practice of segmenting a portion of the 5G network for a specific client or requirement – it’s like what cloud computing is to the internet.

The agreement between Huawei and Festo is based on 5G cloud robotics to test the “robot as a service” concept, or RaaS, which is part of the manufacturing digital transformation that supports the shift from mass production to mass customizing and offers value-based services in smart factories.  [Read more…] about Huawei and Festo link up for smart manufacturing and robotics as a service based on 5G slicing
