The Major Fields of Robotics in 2023

December 28, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

Robotics is now gaining popularity more quickly than anything else. Robotics is a vast topic that examines how machines function in various businesses. Because robots are useful practically anywhere, they are gaining popularity.

Robots are helpful in many fields, including medicine, engineering, space exploration, and residential care. Robotics’ design and programming, nevertheless, adapt to different sectors. Therefore, we will talk about the top 5 robotics disciplines today. So let’s get going with the branches of robotics.

When working with susceptible technology, one must use a VPN for windows pc to protect themselves. So employ VPN servers for Israel, such as VeePN. You can review VeePN today to get the whole idea! [Read more…] about The Major Fields of Robotics in 2023

How Robotics Can Help Manufacturers Solve Labor Shortages

December 8, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

Manufacturing is critical to the United States and the Midwest. It’s responsible for creating jobs, supporting businesses, and generating economic growth. Manufacturing is also a key driver of innovation, helping to create new products and technologies that can improve our lives.

Nationwide, manufacturing was the fourth-largest employment sector in 2021, with more than 12 million employees. In the Midwest, it’s the largest employment sector. But like many other industries, manufacturers are facing a major challenge – a shortage of skilled workers.

Even if every skilled worker in the country was employed in manufacturing, Forbes reports there would still be 35 percent more job openings than workers capable of filling them. By 2030, Deloitte predicts the industry will be short by more than 2 million workers. [Read more…] about How Robotics Can Help Manufacturers Solve Labor Shortages

Labor shortages set to propel shipments of outdoor mobile robots to 350,000 by 2030

November 30, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

Rapid advancements in fundamental techniques, such as navigation, manipulation, and functional safety, have made robots more intelligent, agile, and safer.

Mobile robots are a proven ideal companion for humans performing mission- and business-critical tasks in outdoor environments. According to global intelligence firm ABI Research, shipments of outdoor mobile robots will grow from 40,000 units in 2021 to reach 350,000 by 2030, a compound annual growth rate of 27 percent.

With the successful deployment of mobile robots for successful navigation, manipulation, and functional safety in material handling, transporting, and cleaning, companies are now looking to deploy robots for outdoor applications for the same reasons. Festo showcases robot dragonfly and swift

November 4, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

Festo has been showcasing it flying robotic dragonfly and swift at the recent RoboBoston event – the MassRobotics sponsored 5th annual Robot Block Party.

The design of the Festo BionicOpter was inspired by the flight of the dragonfly. Like its natural role model, the ultra-light aircraft can move in all directions, hover on the spot, and sail without flapping its wings.

The BionicOpter for the first time makes it possible for a single model to carry out more flight maneuvers than helicopters and motorized and non-motorized gliders combined. [Read more…] about Festo showcases robot dragonfly and swift

Ground-breaking robotics partnership aims to shape future of safe handling of hazardous materials

November 3, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

A collaboration between two robotics companies is showing the potential of the technology to shape how hazardous materials are handled safely in the future.

As a television advert by UK telecommunications company EE recently demonstrated, the world of teleoperated robotics is constantly advancing. But beyond attention grabbing stunts, a key aim is to apply this technology to manufacturing and industry contexts to take people out of hazardous or dangerous work situations.

Now, thanks to a recent virtual reality (VR) experiment between Extend Robotics and Shadow Robot, achieving that aim is one step closer. [Read more…] about Ground-breaking robotics partnership aims to shape future of safe handling of hazardous materials

Introducing the Field Marking Robot: The Future of Athletic Field Maintenance

October 12, 2022 by Mark Allinson Leave a Comment

The Field Marking Robot is a new machine that is designed to help with the maintenance of athletic fields. This machine can quickly and easily mark lines on any field without needing a human operator.

The field marking robot is operated by remote control, which allows the user to select the desired line width and color. The machine then uses GPS to navigate itself around the field while leaving behind a perfectly straight line.

This technology has the potential to revolutionize the way athletic fields are maintained. In the past, field markings were often done by hand, which was both time-consuming and led to inconsistent results. With the Field Marking Robot, those days are now over.
