Wing and Walmart expand drone delivery to 150 new stores coast to coast

Wing and Walmart are embarking on the next chapter of the world’s largest drone delivery expansion to evolve our service from a regional success into a delivery option across the nation.

We are scaling ultra-fast service to an additional 150 Walmart stores over the next year, bringing the convenience of drone delivery to more than 40 million Americans.

Walmart and Wing will establish a network of over 270 drone delivery locations by 2027, stretching from Los Angeles to Miami. Neura Robotics showcases new humanoid, quadruped, and AI platform at CES 2026

Neura Robotics used CES 2026 in Las Vegas to present a new generation of robots and demonstrate its Neuraverse software platform, positioning the system as a shared operating layer for connected robotic systems.

The company exhibited an updated version of its humanoid robot, 4NE1, alongside a smaller variant called 4NE1 Mini, and a newly introduced quadruped robot.

Nowaste Logistics advances automation with Cognibotics robot picking cell

Nowaste Logistics, a Swedish third-party logistics (TPL) provider, has ordered a second robot picking cell from Cognibotics following the successful pilot of the first installation.

Integrated with Nowaste’s AutoStore system delivered by Swisslog, the Cognibotics robot cell performs high-speed picking directly from AutoStore ports, enabling Nowaste to scale with greater operational robustness and a future-proof approach to automated order fulfillment, strengthening its commercial offering to TPL customers.

AgiBot claims top spot in global humanoid robot shipments in 2025 with more than 5,100 units delivered

Shanghai-based robotics firm AgiBot says it was the world’s largest shipper of humanoid robots in 2025. 

The company delivered more than 5,100 units and capturing roughly 39 percent of the global market in a year of rapid industry expansion, according to a market report by research firm Omdia.

The General-Purpose Embodied Intelligent Robot 2026 report, released in January, shows that global humanoid robot shipments jumped significantly in 2025, with total deliveries reaching about 13,000 units worldwide. SMD strengthens position in emerging Asian offshore wind market

Subsea technology and services company SMD has strengthened its position as a key player in the emerging Asian offshore wind market, following a multi-vehicle contract win.

The agreement includes the delivery of one of SMD’s bespoke multi-tool hard ground trenchers and work-class ROV, the Quantum EV. This is the first electric work-class ROV purchased in this region, representing a milestone investment in the emerging market.

Hexagon Robotics collaborates with Microsoft to advance the field of humanoid robots

Hexagon Robotics has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft aimed at advancing humanoid robots with a focus on:

  • redefining data-driven, adaptive manufacturing through deep technology collaboration;
  • scaling of physical AI frameworks across imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and multimodal vision-language-action models; and
  • jointly engage customers to deploy AI-driven robotics powered by Microsoft Azure and bring automation from concept to factory floor.

Goya’s Latin American products gain capacity with a pallet shuttle system in Toledo

Goya, a distributor of Latin American food products in Europe, has expanded its warehouse in Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo province) with Mecalux’s semi-automated Pallet Shuttle.

The storage system has boosted the company’s logistics performance, ensuring fast replenishment to 4,000 points of sale throughout Spain.

Mobileye to acquire Mentee Robotics in $900m deal to expand physical AI ambitions

Mobileye has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mentee Robotics, an AI-first humanoid robotics startup, in a transaction valued at $900 million, as the company moves to broaden its focus beyond autonomous driving into what it describes as “physical artificial intelligence”.

Under the terms of the deal, the consideration will comprise approximately $612 million in cash and up to 26.2 million shares of Mobileye Class A common stock, subject to certain adjustments. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, pending customary conditions.

Kodiak to scale autonomous trucking hardware and sensor solution in strategic agreement with Bosch

Kodiak AI, a provider of AI-powered autonomous driving technology, has entered into an agreement with Bosch, a global supplier of technology and services, to collaborate on and scale the manufacturing of a production-grade, redundant autonomous platform.

This platform contains the specialized hardware, firmware, and software interfaces that enable the Kodiak Driver, Kodiak’s AI-powered driver, to automate trucks – either on a vehicle production line or through an upfitter.
