SVT Robotics surpasses four billion transactions on its Softbot automation platform

June 30, 2026 by Sam Francis

SVT Robotics, a leader in interoperability software that provides the data foundation for enterprise and physical AI, has announced that its Softbot Platform has surpassed four billion transactions, underscoring the scale, resilience, and performance of the infrastructure it delivers worldwide.

With transaction volumes now totaling 100 million to 130 million per week and accelerating, SVT expects to exceed eight billion lifetime transactions by the end of 2026, as demand for resilient automation infrastructure and AI-ready operational data expands.

“What began as an integration challenge has evolved into a critical need for resilient infrastructure that provides real-time visibility across technologies, facilities, and workflows, while generating the high-fidelity data required for industrial AI,” said A.K. Schultz, CEO and co-founder of SVT Robotics. “Reaching four billion transactions emphasizes that growing need in large-scale operations.” [Read more…] about SVT Robotics surpasses four billion transactions on its Softbot automation platform

The Shift from One-Size-Fits-All to Bespoke Systems

June 22, 2026 by Sam Francis

For anyone who has been running a business for years, they know that they were told that standard solutions were the smartest path forward!

Is this the truth, though? Businesses are told to buy the same software that everyone else is using, along with following the same processes, and make sure to fit their operations into a predetermined mold.

On the surface, this approach appears to be practical, easy to manage, and affordable. However, we must remember that industries are continuously evolving and customer expectations are continuously growing. What this means is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Robotiq launches AI platform to automate robotic workcell integration

June 3, 2026 by Sam Francis

Robotiq has introduced IQ, an AI-enabled platform designed to make robotic Workcell integration faster, more predictable, and easier to scale.

Enabling a much-needed shift from a manual, expert-dependent approach to automatic integration, IQ captures unstructured automation project data, coordinates engineering workflows, and helps partners generate validated workcell designs based on real customer inputs and historical deployment data from thousands of previous factory installations.

Samuel Bouchard, CEO of Robotiq, says: “Automation does not scale when integration remains manual. [Read more…] about Robotiq launches AI platform to automate robotic workcell integration

How SMEs can use automation to their advantage

June 2, 2026 by Sam Francis

Running a small or medium-sized business in 2026 means juggling rising costs with customers who expect faster responses than ever.

If you’re still relying on manual processes to keep everything moving, you’re probably spending more time on admin than on work that actually grows your revenue.

With over 36 million small businesses in the US employing nearly half the private sector workforce, the pressure to work more efficiently has never been more real. [Read more…] about How SMEs can use automation to their advantage

How Automation Improves Service Consistency in Pest Control Operations

June 2, 2026 by Sam Francis

Managing a scaling pest control operation in this $15 billion industry means fighting a constant battle against human error.

When your business expands across new territories, your biggest risk is not a lack of pests but a lack of operational consistency.

A technician who misses a key step or shows up late quickly destroys customer trust. [Read more…] about How Automation Improves Service Consistency in Pest Control Operations

Using Copilot to predict business outcomes

March 19, 2026 by Sam Francis

The turn of the century marked a transition, going from filing cabinets to databases. While we often saw this as a way to be more accurate and efficient, it wasn’t until data science become ubiquitous, even among small companies, that the true power will lie in being able to manipulate and analyze the now digitized data.

Then, the rise of generative AI and tools like Microsoft Copilot have brought about a new shift, where non-technical owners aren’t just recording the past or assessing the present, but predicting the future. [Read more…] about Using Copilot to predict business outcomes
