Apptronik creates new subsidiary for ‘superhuman industrial automation’

Apptronik, the AI-powered robotics company, has announced the creation of Elevate Robotics, a wholly owned subsidiary that will focus on automating industrial tasks beyond the limits of the human form.

Apptronik’s flagship humanoid robot Apollo is the result of a decade of development, during which the company built more than 15 robotics systems and made numerous significant technological advancements.

Apptronik raises more than $400 million in additional Series A funding

Apptronik, the AI-powered humanoid robotics company, has successfully closed an “oversubscribed” $403 million Series A funding round, adding an extra $53 million to the previously announced $350 million round led by B Capital and Capital Factory, with participation from Google.

Mercedes-Benz, Japan Post Capital, ARK Invest, Helium-3, Magnetar, RyderVentures (the corporate venture capital arm of Ryder System), a syndicate led by Korea Investment Partners, and others are also joining the oversubscribed round, reflecting strong market demand and investor confidence in Apptronik’s leadership, unique design and technology, and transformative vision for embodied AI.

The Series A funding will fuel production and deployment of Apptronik’s AI-powered humanoid robot, Apollo, and support growing customer demand across key industries – including automotive, electronics manufacturing, third-party logistics, beverage bottling and fulfillment, and consumer packaged goods. Apptronik and Jabil partner to scale production of humanoid robots for manufacturing

Apptronik, the AI-powered humanoid robotics company, and Jabil, an engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions company, have agreed a strategic collaboration to build Apollo humanoid robots and integrate them into specific Jabil manufacturing operations.

This includes the production lines that will build Apollo humanoid robots, paving the way for Apollo to build Apollo.

Apptronik says its humanoid robot will ‘redefine the future of work’

Apptronik and Terex to jointly develop robots for commercial use

Apptronik, a maker of general-purpose robots, exoskeletons and humanoids, has received an equity investment from Terex Corporation and has reached an agreement with Terex to co-develop “first-of-a-kind robots” to work alongside workers to support safety, productivity, and efficiency of industries that power the economy and are essential to building infrastructure.

Robots have long held the promise of solving labor shortages and productivity issues, but until recently have been limited to performing repetitive tasks within structured environments such as warehouses or factories.

Apptronik signs partnership with NASA for humanoid robots

Apptronik, an Austin, US-based company specializing in the development of versatile, mobile robotic systems, has agreed a partnership with NASA to accelerate commercialization of its new humanoid robot.

Apptronik raises $15 million for its humanoid robots

Apptronik, an Austin-based robotics company specializing in the development of exoskeletons and collaborative robotics systems, says it raised $14.6 million in a Seed Round, including Capital Factory, Grit Ventures, Perot Jain and other strategic investors.

This funding will go toward fulfilling the company’s current customer orders while accelerating the commercialization of one of the industry’s first mass-produced humanoid robots capable of working alongside humans.
