Why I Started Testing Automation Scripts Through Residential Networks

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

I’ve been building data collection tools for warehouse automation projects for about 18 months now. Price monitoring bots that checked component costs across supplier sites. Inventory trackers that scraped availability data every 4 hours.

And then everything fell apart.

You run a script 47 times in one afternoon from the same datacenter IP, and suddenly you’re staring at CAPTCHA walls or worse – silent bans where the site just serves you stale data while actual customers see the real inventory numbers. How to Shortlist Data Engineering Services Providers: A Side-by-Side Evaluation Guide

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

Article Overview

  • Evaluate data engineering services by moving beyond price to focus on governance and low-latency logic.
  • Select data engineering companies that prioritize business outcomes and unit economics over simple data movement.
  • Audit data engineering services providers using side-by-side comparisons of technical depth and long-term infrastructure.

Why is your most expensive data infrastructure still producing your least trusted insights?

It’s the question that haunts the late-night project post-mortems. You’ve checked every box on the modern data stack; the cloud migration is complete, the lakehouse is integrated, and the RFP was won by a firm with a global footprint. Yet, when a real-time churn prediction is needed, your data scientists admit they’re working off a manual CSV because the automated pipeline is too brittle to trust.

The enterprise market is currently crawling with data engineering companies that are essentially just order-takers. They’ll win your RFP on price, check every box in your technical requirements, and then build a $2 million pipe to nowhere that lacks the governance or low-latency logic your AI strategy actually requires. How to Choose a Reliable Broker for Yacht Charter in Cannes

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

Every summer Cannes fills up with yachts. Dozens of vessels berth in the old port, from modest sailing boats to gleaming white superyachts with helicopter pads. The city has long been one of the main hubs for Mediterranean chartering, and the sheer number of options on offer is enough to make anyone’s head spin.

The trouble is, finding a decent broker among all this turns out to be harder than it looks. You want someone you can trust with your money and your holiday, and that person isn’t always the first one in the search results. Some people end up dealing with resellers.

Others sign contracts without reading the fine print and are surprised later by hidden surcharges. Anyone planning a yacht charter in this region for the first time will benefit from a few practical reference points. And experienced renters won’t lose anything by running through the checklist again before they rent a motorboat in Cannes for a new season. Why Wire-Free Robotic Lawn Mowers Are Becoming the Industry Standard?

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

The robotic lawn mower industry is entering a new phase of technological maturity. Over the past decade, systems relying on boundary wires have dominated the mainstream market due to their stability and reliability.

However, as user demand for “zero-maintenance” and “plug-and-play” experiences continues to grow, boundary-free robotic lawn mowers are rapidly becoming the industry’s future direction.

This shift represents not only a product upgrade but also a transformation of the industry from “rule-based automation” to “spatially intelligent autonomous systems”. [Read more…] about Why Wire-Free Robotic Lawn Mowers Are Becoming the Industry Standard?

Joby and Skyports complete New York’s first point-to-point eVTOL flights to Downtown Skyport

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

Skyports Infrastructure, a vertiport development and operations company, has completed multiple point-to-point eVTOL flights to Downtown Skyport – New York’s first – during Joby Aviation’s “2026 Electric Skies Tour” New York City Flight Campaign, which took place between April 23rd-May 1st 2026.

Over the course of the week-long flight program, Downtown Skyport received 5 flights, also acting as the key location where Joby managed aircraft operations and charging in Manhattan.

Downtown Skyport played a central role within the flight campaign as it is the only commercial vertical aviation facility in Manhattan that can currently handle eVTOL charging. [Read more…] about Joby and Skyports complete New York’s first point-to-point eVTOL flights to Downtown Skyport

Where to Find Trusted Hair Care Stores Nearby

May 11, 2026 by David Edwards

Most people don’t think much about where they buy their hair care products – until something goes wrong. You pick up a shampoo from a random shelf, use it for months, and then wonder why your hair feels thinner or drier than before.

The truth is, where you shop for hair care products matters more than most people realize. Not just for quality, but for getting the right guidance alongside the right products. [Read more…] about Where to Find Trusted Hair Care Stores Nearby

Opinion: Autonomy is reshaping logistics, but its real value lies in better decision-making

May 9, 2026 by David Edwards

By Marcus Schunemann, head of autonomy at Dexory

Warehouses are under growing pressure to do more with less. Labour shortages, rising operating costs and continued supply chain disruption are forcing logistics operators to rethink how goods are stored, tracked and moved.

UK Warehousing Association research shows that recruitment difficulty remains widespread in warehousing, with only 13 percent of employers reporting no difficulty hiring staff and more than half expecting critical skills shortages, indicating a persistent labour gap across the sector.

At the same time, the push towards automation is accelerating. According to McKinsey, warehouse automation adoption is growing at more than 10 percent annually, driven by the need to improve efficiency, resilience and cost control. Brain Corp reports strong results from AI-powered shelf-scanning robots at Czech retailer Albert

May 8, 2026 by David Edwards

Brain Corp, the real-world AI company, has released what it says are “highly successful results” from the expansion of its partnership with Albert to deploy AI-powered shelf scanning robots.

Albert is one of the leading retail brands in the Czech Republic and a subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize, and operates 350 stores nationwide.

Historically, inventory management at Albert has been a highly structured, daily operation relying heavily on manual execution. After replenishment cycles, empty shelves are scanned by store associates and managers to correct discrepancies in the system.
