ADCERAX Launches Advanced Alumina Tube Technology to Support Industrial Automation and Robotics

November 14, 2025 by David Edwards

Industrial automation and robotics are becoming increasingly dependent on materials that can withstand demanding thermal and mechanical environments.

To support this shift, ADCERAX has introduced a new generation of high-purity alumina ceramic tube technology engineered for high-temperature control, insulation, and structural stability in next-generation automated systems.

As robots move into more extreme operating conditions – industrial furnaces, precision thermal modules, semiconductor handling, and chemical processing – materials must ensure reliability at temperatures above 1500°C while maintaining dimensional precision. What are Industrial Power Connectors?

November 11, 2025 by David Edwards

Industrial setups are heavily reliant on power, and you need to ensure everything is stable even when the conditions are not.

This is the role that industrial power connectors play as they safely connect cables and ensure that power is delivered to equipment in a stable manner. They are the endpoints but also one of the most sensitive parts of any connection.

In this guide, we’ll break down industrial power connectors to understand what they are and look at how to choose the right ones. [Read more…] about What are Industrial Power Connectors?

Dürr sells environmental technology business to Stellex

November 2, 2025 by Sam Francis

Dürr, a plant engineering company and one of Europe’s most well known robotics and automation brands, has completed the planned sale of its environmental technology business (Clean Technology Systems Environmental division), which was announced in June.

The new owner is an affiliate of the US investment firm Stellex Capital Management.

The Dürr Group retains a re-investment in the environmental technology business amounting to approximately 25 percent. Based on an enterprise value of around €385 million, Dürr expects to receive gross proceeds of between €290 and €310 million in the fourth quarter.

After receipt, the gross proceeds will be reduced by transaction-related costs and by taxes arising from the transaction, most of which will become payable in 2026. Not included in the gross proceeds are payments that Dürr will receive for the capital it contributed to the environmental technology companies prior to the sale. Inspection and maintenance robots: Reaching the unreachable and dangerous

September 19, 2025 by Sam Francis

Drones, crawlers, quadrupeds, and submersibles for inspecting bridges, pipelines, wind turbines, and more

Modern society relies on infrastructure that is both aging and mission-critical. Bridges, pipelines, refineries, power plants, and offshore wind turbines require constant inspection to ensure safety and reliability.

Yet traditional inspection is risky, expensive, and often disruptive. Workers climb tall stacks, enter confined tanks, or dive into murky waters. Outages are scheduled, scaffolding erected, and safety crews deployed – all before a single defect is recorded.

Enter inspection and maintenance robots. Equipped with advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, and mobility systems, these machines are beginning to handle the dirty and dangerous jobs, collecting high-quality data at a fraction of the risk and cost.
