The industrial auctioneer is helping its client free up needed floor space
BTM Industrial, a leading asset disposition company, is helping a large industrial robotics supplier liquidate its surplus inventory of than 150 FANUC, ABB, KUKA, and Yaskawa robots, controllers, and welding equipment, along with other miscellaneous production support items.
The company is holding a no-reserve online auction on May 5 and 6, 2026, to help its client free up needed floor space at its Warren, Ohio, facility.
“Facility space is always a premium for our clients,” said BTM Industrial President Jeff Orlowski, who coordinated the auction’s set-up using his extensive used-robotics industry knowledge. “We help them manage available floorspace by quickly liquidating surplus inventory and assets that are no longer needed.”
Speed is often the need when companies are preparing for incoming inventories of large pieces of equipment, like industrial robots. BTM Industrial’s full-service approach can bring asset disposition projects from start to finish in as little as 45 to 60 days.
“The robotics market is very competitive, and manufacturing companies can benefit from surplus inventory auctions, like this one,” said Orlowski. “They can purchase new, pre-owned, and refurbished industrial robots and robotics equipment at incredible prices. They can really stretch their capital investment budgets for automating their manufacturing and production workflows.”
The two-day sale includes industrial robots and equipment for everything from light assembly to welding. For example, the catalog features a Fanuc M-2000ia/1200 robot with R30iA controller that has an estimated new replacement cost of more than $400,000. However, it will be sold regardless of how low the winning bid may be.
In addition to robots, the auction includes a large selection of manufacturing support equipment, such as hundreds of welders and welding items. A vast selection of robot parts, motors, controllers, drives, and boards (many unused) are also in the sale.
The liquidation project’s enormous size requires it to take place over two auction days.
- Day one is May 5, 2026, and focuses on industrial robots. The catalog can be viewed on BidSpotter here – https://www.bidspotter.com/en-us/auction-catalogues/bscbt/catalogue-id-bscbt10759
