Device Fingerprinting Benefits for Business in 2021

February 16, 2021 by Polly

Device fingerprinting is a relatively new “cookie-less” activity capture method that tracks your device OS, screen dimensions, fonts, clock, browser version, and other info for marketing purposes.

Unlike cookies, fingerprinting data isn’t stored on users’ devices, which means that it cannot be deleted that simply.

Device fingerprinting looks quite controversial for many users, but is there actually anything to be aware of or is it the next-gen user activity tracking method with lots of benefits for business? [Read more…] about Device Fingerprinting Benefits for Business in 2021

October 22, 2020 by Polly

With no effective antiviral therapy or vaccine currently available, the strategy for managing Covid-19 in October 2020 and into the foreseeable future; could be best described as “containment, tracking and mitigation”.

Digital technologies have been key in the management and ‘flattening of the curve’ in terms of infection rates across many countries. Surveillance, testing, contact tracing, quarantine and health care can all potentially benefit from the integration of digital technology. Why You Should Use Call Tracking for Your Conversion Optimization Strategy

April 6, 2020 by Polly

1. Use call tracking

Not all of your conversions are non-calls. In other words, you get online purchases if you’re an e-commerce store, but you also get phone-in orders, right?

A lot of the customers do in fact call. And so if you’re not tracking your calls, you don’t truly understand how you’re receiving those calls and therefore, you can’t increase your efforts in those areas to generate more calls.

For example, we generate thousands of leads a month here and about 40 per cent are calls, in many cases. On the low months, it’s 20 per cent. [Read more…] about Why You Should Use Call Tracking for Your Conversion Optimization Strategy

There’s an app for that: Automating the moving of parts from warehouses to field service technicians

June 7, 2019 by David Edwards

By Travis Smith, founder and CTO, WithoutWire Inventory Sciences

A typical process to move parts from a warehouse to a field technician generates a 77 percent reduction in barcode scans using automated optimization

Field technicians are paid to do their job, not to study software manuals. Many field techs are under 40 and have spent their lives using Android and iOS apps. These solutions are easy to install; with a minimal learning curve, automating, tracking, and replenishing truck inventory in real-time is now possible.  [Read more…] about There’s an app for that: Automating the moving of parts from warehouses to field service technicians
