Rosendin to showcase robotic solar installation system at Texas job site

Rosendin, which claims to be the largest employee-owned electrical contractor in the US, is preparing to publicly demonstrate a new robotic system designed to accelerate the construction of solar energy projects. (See video below.)

The showcase, scheduled for April 17 at a utility-scale solar site in West Texas, will feature a three-part autonomous robotic system developed to install photovoltaic (PV) panels more quickly and safely than traditional manual methods.

Distalmotion completes first US sale of its Dexter robotic surgery system

Distalmotion says it has completed the first US sale and delivery of the Dexter Robotic Surgery System to Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas in early February. This milestone marks a significant step toward expanding access to robotic-assisted surgery in the United States.

Distalmotion, a MedTech company with more than 1,500 surgical cases completed to date in Europe, is actively expanding within the US with its Dexter robot, which received FDA De Novo market authorization last quarter.

Wandelbots releases new operating system for robots

Wandelbots has released “Nova”, which it describes as “the agnostic robot operating system”. The software made its debut at ProMat 2025 in Chicago, which marked the first time Nova has been presented live in the US.

Designed to maximize storage capacity while minimizing aisle width, the Double Reach Shuttle enables businesses to optimize warehouse space without compromising accessibility or throughput.

Boehli drives snack production to 31 daily tonnes with two automated storage systems from Mecalux

The intralogistics group Mecalux has installed two automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) at the headquarters of Boehli, a leading brand in the European snack market, to boost its daily output to 31 tonnes.

Its Gundershoffen, France plant, opened in 2000, operates seven production lines supplying snacks – mainly pretzels and breadsticks – to over 22 countries.

Exotec launches new robot-based automated storage and retrieval system

Exotec, a warehouse robotics provider, has launched the Next Generation of its Skypod system, offering higher performance, improved storage density, and advanced software features.

The Next Generation of Skypod comes with a number of design improvements, including a new and more compact Skypod robot, a workstation for robot-to-robot picking, a high-throughput exchanger, and denser storage.
