Antioch raises $8.5 million to accelerate simulation-based development of autonomous systems

Antioch, a cloud simulation platform focused on robotics and autonomous systems, has raised $8.5 million in funding as it seeks to shift development and testing away from physical environments and into software-based simulation.

The investment round was led by A* and Category Ventures, with participation from MaC Venture Capital, Abstract, Box Group, Icehouse Ventures, and angel investors including Shyam Sankar and Adrian Macneil.

Founded in May 2025 and headquartered in New York, Antioch aims to reduce reliance on costly and time-consuming real-world testing by enabling robotics teams to develop and evaluate autonomous systems in simulated environments. MassRobotics startups raise $2 billion as Massachusetts strengthens its global robotics hub

MassRobotics resident startups have collectively raised $2 billion in venture funding since launching in 2017. Resident startups have announced major funding rounds, new product launches, and key industry milestones so far in 2026, highlighting the strength of resident startups within the MassRobotics ecosystem.

Tutor Intelligence raises $34 million to scale its AI-powered fleet of warehouse robot workers

Tutor Intelligence, an AI-powered fleet of warehouse robot workers, has announced the close of its $34 million Series A led by Union Square Ventures, bringing the company’s total capital raised to $42 million.

With the new capital, the company will accelerate the commercialization of its state-of-the-art robots, scale its consumer packaged goods fleet, and advance its central robot intelligence platform and research infrastructure to power a suite of new robot form factors and capabilities.

In addition to Union Square Ventures, known for its investments in Twitter, Coinbase, Etsy, and MongoDB; Fundomo, backers of Standard Nuclear, Mercor, Etched, and Atomic Semi, also participated in the round, along with follow-on investment from Neo, which led Tutor’s seed round and has invested in Cursor and Kalshi. Energy Robotics secures $13.5 million Series A to scale critical infrastructure inspections with AI and robotics

Energy Robotics, a provider of an AI software platform for autonomous inspection with robots and drones, has announced the successful close of $13.5m of Series A funding. 

Energy Robotics has completed over 1 million inspections across five continents, saving 32,000+ hours of hazardous human labor for customers across oil and gas, industrial, chemical, and utility sectors, including Shell, BP, Repsol, BASF, Merck and E.ON.

This funding cements the company’s position as a market leader of full-stack, hardware-agnostic, fleet-management AI software autonomy platform for critical infrastructure. Dyna Robotics raises $120 million to advance robotic foundation models on ‘path to physical artificial general intelligence’

Dyna Robotics has closed a $120 million Series A funding round, led by Robostrategy, CRV, and First Round Capital, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, NVentures (Nvidia’s venture capital arm), the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund, Samsung Next, and LG Technology Ventures.

The new capital will be used to expand its world-class research and engineering team and accelerate the development of its next-generation foundation model as the company works to deliver high performance general-purpose robots in commercial environments.

Dyna has made rapid progress since raising a $23.5 million seed round in March, including launching its DYNA-1 model, a breakthrough robotics foundation model that pushed the performance of robots to a 99+ percent success rate in 24 hours of non-stop operation.
