AutoStore launches pay-per-pick option to meet ‘fast-growing demand’ for its fulfillment automation

AutoStore has made its warehouse automaton system available as a pay-per-pick service. 

The company says its new offering will “enable a lower entry price point to help retailers meet the growing need for more efficient warehouse operations and faster customer delivery”.

Agtonomy selects Fixposition for farm vehicle GPS

Agtonomy, an ag-tech software start-up, has been working with Fixposition to integrate Fixposition’s Vision Fusion Technology to provide an element of its precise global positioning solution in its TeleFarmer solution.

Agtonomy’s TeleFarmer solution is comprised of innovative software, a suite of apps, and an electric vehicle reference tractor.

Heraeus and AI Silk unveil ultra-light metaverse glove

Heraeus Epurio, a specialist developer of conductive polymer materials, and AI Silk , a Japanese wearable-tech startup that has developed the proprietary and patented conductive fiber “Lead Skin”, have together unveiled the “Haptic Metaverse Glove”.

The “ultra-light” glove has no mechanical parts attached, that doubles as sensors and an AR/VR/XR controller.

Made from AI Silk’s proprietary conductive fiber, Lead Skin, Haptic Metaverse Glove powered by Lead Skin features built-in finger-bending sensors, as well as control buttons on the back of the wearer’s hand, all of which are also made of the same conductive fiber. Visteon and Steradian partner to develop autonomous car functions

Visteon, a technology company serving the mobility industry, and Steradian Semiconductors, an India-based high-tech imaging radar specialist, will collaborate on efforts to produce enhanced advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) for the global automotive market.

As part of a joint development agreement, Steradian will provide Visteon with access to its advanced 4D image radar sensor hardware and perception software technology.

TTTech Auto expands in China with software platform for automated driving

TTTech Auto, the Austria-based technology company specialising in automotive safety software, is expanding its operations with a dedicated subsidiary in China.

The new TTTech Auto branch in Shanghai will bring its expertise and the series proven safe vehicle software platform, MotionWise, to car manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and partners to the rapidly developing Chinese automotive market.

TTTech Auto already has a presence in the Chinese market through its joint venture Technomous operated together with SAIC Motor, China’s largest automotive manufacturer. This further expansion, with an office in Shanghai, is part of the growth strategy in light of a $285 million (EUR 250 million) investment from Aptiv and Audi announced earlier this year. Guident selected to provide autonomous shuttle services

Guident has been selected by Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) to provide an autonomous shuttle service for a 2.1-mile fixed route with eleven stops within BRiC and connecting to the Boca Raton Tri Rail station, the most frequented station in South Florida.

The service will utilize Polaris GEM e6 vehicles equipped with autonomous vehicle capabilities integrated with Guident’s Remote Monitor and Control Center (RMCC) located at BRiC.
