Heraeus and AI Silk unveil ultra-light metaverse glove

Heraeus Epurio, a specialist developer of conductive polymer materials, and AI Silk , a Japanese wearable-tech startup that has developed the proprietary and patented conductive fiber “Lead Skin”, have together unveiled the “Haptic Metaverse Glove”.

The “ultra-light” glove has no mechanical parts attached, that doubles as sensors and an AR/VR/XR controller.

Made from AI Silk’s proprietary conductive fiber, Lead Skin, Haptic Metaverse Glove powered by Lead Skin features built-in finger-bending sensors, as well as control buttons on the back of the wearer’s hand, all of which are also made of the same conductive fiber. Schmalz launches ‘clever automation solutions’ for electronics production

Vacuum specialist Schmalz has unveiled numerous “clever” solutions for the automated handling of delicate electronic components.

Dow Performance Silicones is showcasing new materials aimed at the automotive sector at the ongoing Battery Show North America.

The silicon-based technology and innovations include new materials and capabilities for electric vehicle and battery packs.

Dow launches new electromagnetic interference shielding technologies

Dow returns to The Battery Show Europe this year to showcase its broad and growing portfolio of conductive silicone technologies with the launch of DowSil EC-6601 Electrically Conductive Adhesive.

This next-generation material is engineered for reliable performance and electromagnetic compatibility in various transportation, communications and consumer electronics applications.

It combines strong shielding against electromagnetic interference across a wide range of frequencies with durable mechanical and conductive properties over time.
