Potential use cases for humanoid robots: Disaster response, caregiving and beyond

March 13, 2026 by Sam Francis

Humanoid robots have moved rapidly from laboratory demonstrations to early commercial trials. A growing number of technology companies are developing machines designed to operate in human environments – walking through buildings, handling tools, and performing tasks traditionally carried out by people.

Yet despite the excitement surrounding the technology, one question remains unresolved: what are humanoid robots actually for?

The current generation of machines – developed by companies including Figure AI, Agility Robotics, Apptronik, 1X Technologies, and several Chinese robotics firms – are frequently described as “general-purpose robots”. Why Your SaaS Needs Email Automation That Feels Human

March 13, 2026 by Sam Francis

Building a software company is a marathon of solving problems. You’ll spend months or years perfecting a product that makes life easier for your users. But, honestly, even the best software in the world can feel a little cold if the only time a customer hears from you is when their credit card fails or a server goes down.

We all know that growth depends on engagement. If people don’t use the tool, they don’t see the value. If they don’t see the value, they’re going to leave. And that’s a tough pill to swallow after all that work.

Email is still the most direct line we have to our users. It’s the digital equivalent of a tap on the shoulder. [Read more…] about Why Your SaaS Needs Email Automation That Feels Human

Robotic arms in modern industry: How automated gripping systems are changing production

March 13, 2026 by Sam Francis

Anyone walking through a modern factory today will quickly notice that production no longer looks the same as it used to. Robotic systems are now often found working alongside machines and conveyor belts.

Particularly eye-catching are movable gripping arms that can pick up components, rotate them, or place them in a specific position. In many factories, a robotic arm is no longer a technical experiment, but a normal part of everyday work.

Many tasks that used to be done by hand are now performed automatically. Components are moved by robots, machines are loaded, or parts are transported to the next station. For employees, this means one thing above all: less physically demanding routine work and more monitoring and control of processes.
