Geek+ implements first moving solutions project in Italy with Life365

Based in Forlì, an important logistics hub in the heart of Romagna, Life365 has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of. The company has chosen Geek+’s automation to advance their business and take on larger competitors.

The shareholders of IDS Imaging Development Systems appointed Alexander Lewinsky to the management board.

Otto Motors integrates its warehouse robots with Boston Dynamics’ robot dog

Otto Motors, a maker of autonomous mobile robots for warehouses and part of Clearpath Robotics, has integrated its warehouse robots with Boston Dynamics’ robot dog, Spot, as part of a demonstration. (See video below.)

The company says it combined its separate areas of expertise – from Clearpath and Otto – into “a dynamic real-world application using Boston Dynamics’ Spot”.

At the end of last year, Clearpath released a ROS software package for Spot which allows researchers to take full advantage of ROS capabilities out-of-the-box and leverage widely available open-source libraries and tools with Spot. Porsche selects DB Schenker to operate Canada distribution centre

Porsche Cars Canada has selected DB Schenker to operate its new Mississauga, Ontario parts distribution centre.

Expected to ship about 282,000 orders during its first year in operation, the new facility joins two other DB Schenker-Porsche parts distribution centres that are already operating in China and Korea.
