Collaborative robot manufacturer Universal Robots is celebrating “unprecedented sales” with the delivery of its 50,000th unit to German company VEMA.

Collaborative robots – or cobots – remain the fastest growing segment of industrial automation, projected to grow at an annual growth rate of 30.37 percent during 2020–2025.

Kassow Robots launches the 7-axis lightweight cobot KR1018

The Danish company Kassow Robots has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of the KR1018, a new, particularly strong model that can handle payloads of up to 18 kilogrammes.

The cobot itself weighs just 34 kilogrammes, a feature that enables it to meet a fundamental requirement for flexible automation solutions, especially in narrow spaces.

The special target group for the company’s fifth 7-axis cobot is industrial companies in the metalworking industry and other areas like the food-production sector that want to take the heavy lifting off the hands of their employees and have these individuals take over more demanding tasks. Doosan Robotics launches six new collaborative robot models

Doosan Robotics is introducing six new collaborative robots models. The new lineup includes four models from the A-Series and two from the H-Series.

The company says the new robots add to its selection of “innovative, future-proof cobots”.

Hyundai launches technical training in collaborative robotics

Newly created company Hyundai Robotics has launched technical training programmes to teach people about collaborative robotics.

The compnay held its first “collaborative robot technical training” recently for dealers and employees, and used Hyundai’s own new collaborative robot, the YL012 (main picture and below).
