Yarbo secures $27+ million Series B funding to accelerate global expansion

Yarbo, a provider of multipurpose intelligent yard robots, has successfully closed its Series B funding round, raising approximately $27 million.

The round was backed by a group of strategic and financial investors, bolstering Yarbo’s vision of reimagining how the world handles outdoor work – one season at a time.

ANYbotics raises additional $60 million to drive US expansion

ANYbotics, a provider of four-legged robotic inspection solutions, has raised an additional $60 million, bringing its total funding to over $130 million.

The new funding is led by Qualcomm Ventures and Supernova Invest, with participation from TDK Ventures and other new investors.

Backed by existing investors from Silicon Valley and Europe, including Walden Catalyst, NGP Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Swisscanto, and Swisscom Ventures, the funding will accelerate ANYbotics’ global scaling and recent expansion in the US to meet the growing demand for its industrial inspection robots and enhance the company’s ability to deliver exceptional services and seamless integrations worldwide. Dexory secures $80 million funding to drive global expansion goals

Dexory, the leading robotics and data intelligence company, has successfully closed an $80 million Series B funding round.

The round was led by DTCP, with participation from Latitude Ventures, Wave-X and Bootstrap Europe, along with existing investors Atomico, Lakestar, Capnamic and several angels from the logistics industry. As part of this investment, DTCP’s Michael Rager joins Dexory’s board of directors.

The new funding, made up of a mix of equity and growth debt, will support an expansion of their artificial intelligence (AI) powered features across the DexoryView platform, grow its global team and accelerate the deployment of its autonomous robots with customers like GXO, Maersk, DB Schenker and beyond. Wieland unveils $500 million modernization and expansion project in Illinois

Locus Robotics expands presence in Europe and Central America

Locus Robotics, a provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for fulfilment warehouses, has increased its global presence with expansion across two continents.

In Europe, the US-based robotics supplier has announced an expanded commitment to Italy and Poland, while in Central America, lifestyle brand, Solo Brands has deployed the AI-enabled Locus AMR Solution at its fulfilment warehouse in Mexicali, Mexico.

ABB to invest another $20 million on expanding its robotics factory in US

ABB has strengthened its commitment to one of its largest customer markets – the US – with construction starting on the expansion of its existing North American robotics headquarters and manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

The project is expected to be completed in November 2023 and represents an investment of $20 million. The expansion will create 72 highly skilled new jobs in the area and is supported by a $450,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.
