QYSEA releases new ‘compact and highly capable’ underwater drone

QYSEA Technology has released its latest “compact and highly capable” underwater drone, FIFISH V-EVO.

The new drone is claimed to be “the first underwater drone to feature a 4K 60 FPS camera with 360-degree omnidirectional movement”, allowing filmmakers and explorers to capture increased detail and smooth slow-motion videos in ultra-high definition, as deep as 100 meters below the surface.

Industrial robot components market set for higher growth over next decade

The global industrial robot components market is expected to be valued at $6.3 billion in 2023 and it is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 13.9 percent to reach $23.2 billion by the end of 2033.

Over the 2018-2022 historical period, the global industrial robot component market registered a compound annual growth rate of 12.5 percent, according to Fact.MR, a market research and competitive intelligence provider, the market is projected to exhibit growth at 13.9 percent compound annual growth rate between 2023 and 2033.

Kuka receives ‘record orders’ in first six months of year

Kuka, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of industrial robots, says it has achieved “record orders” in the first six months of 2022.

At €2,545.4 million, the value of Kuka Group’s orders received in the first half of the year was 34.8 percent higher than in the previous year, and sales revenues increased by 13.5 percent to around €1.7 billion.

In addition, Kuka improved earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to €48.6 million (H1/21: €33.8 million). The EBIT margin increased to 2.8 percent in the first half-year 2022. [Read more…] about Kuka receives ‘record orders’ in first six months of year

Electronic component manufacturer Stego expands headquarters

Stego, a manufacturer of electronic components, is expanding its capacity at the group’s headquarters in Schwäbisch Hall, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

A doubling of warehouse volume for production is already complete. The construction of an office block is now starting. This should be completed by the end of 2023 and provide space for over 70 employees with 1,500 square metres.

Comau expands Jeep manufacturing lines in Brazil

Comau has expanded the end-to-end body manufacturing lines at one of the most modern car manufacturing plants in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco to produce the new 7-seat Jeep Commander SUV.

Comau has been tasked with increasing the flexibility of 14 complex lines to handle 4 different vehicle models in a completely random production flow.

Kärcher and Brain Corp debut industry’s ‘first professional robotic vacuum’

Brain Corp, a provider of software for industrial floor cleaning robots, has launched its “first professional autonomous vacuum cleaner”, the Kira CV 60/1.

The new machine is a joint development with Kärcher, one of the world’s leading providers of cleaning technology.
