Kivnon to launch new version of its forklift AGV at Advanced Factories Expo

Kivnon will launch one of the latest additions to its AGV portfolio, the K55 Pallet Stacker, at this year’s Advanced Factories Expo, which runs from 18-20th April in Barcelona. 

Kivon’s range of AGVs is renowned for robustness, safety, and accuracy, and this new addition to the portfolio provides customers with a vehicle that can automatically transport stack pallets.

FarmWise launches new weeding machine at the World Ag Expo

FarmWise, a farm automation company operating in the commercial weeding business for more than three years, has launched its next-generation weeding implement, Vulcan, at the World Ag Expo.

Now available for pre-order, Vulcan was named to the World Ag Expo’s 2023 Top-10 New Products list.

Vulcan packs cutting-edge computer vision into a lightweight, open cultivator frame. Thanks to deep learning models refined by millions of images in FarmWise’s catalog, Vulcan removes weeds inter-row and intra-row with sub-inch precision, eliminating the need for hand weeding crews for over 20 vegetable crops, including lettuce and broccoli. Edson to debut new robotic cell at Pack Expo

Edson, a ProMach brand, is debuting its new KDF Stack Prep System, a robotic cell that automates the infeed area of a case packer, in booth N-5348 at Pack Expo 2022, October 23-26, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Edson is a manufacturer of case and tray packing solutions for the converted paper, diaper, and nonwoven markets.

After stacks are loaded onto the case packer’s infeed conveyors, the KDF (knocked down flat) Stack Prep System prepares the cases by cutting bands and removing dunnage and other cardboard or paper materials used during transportation. Flexiv showcases robotic masseur and robotic coronavirus testing system

Flexiv, a “general-purpose” robotics company which also produces a collaborative robotic arm, has been showcasing some of its latest robotic developments at the recent World Artificial Intelligence Conference, held in China.

Flexiv’s booth featured a fully automated coronavirus testing robot, a robotic masseur, and a range of other industry-ready robotic solutions.

CeMAT Russia provides comprehensive overview of intralogistics

CeMAT Russia ran from 24 to 26 September 2019 at the IEC Crocus Expo in Moscow.

The tradeshow for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics featured more than 150 exhibiting companies and attracted 5,700 visitors, solidifying its position as the only intralogistics event in Russia with such a diverse portfolio.

HRG launches new ‘automated guided vehicle’

HRG has launched what it describes as an “automated guided vehicle”, although it appears to have the technology that is also found in autonomous mobile robots, which are slightly different.

AGVs are older technology and are limited in their ability to navigate their way round a facility – usually, magnetic strips are fixed to the floor to guide them.
