Interview with Reframe Systems CEO: ‘We’re developing a robotics and vision platform to unlock automation’

February 10, 2026 by Sam Francis

As the construction sector grapples with stubborn labor shortages, rising costs, and mounting pressure to deliver housing at scale, a new class of automation companies is emerging that promises to reshape how homes are built.

One of the most intriguing among them is Reframe Systems, a technology company that blends industrial robotics, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing to automate large chunks of the construction process that have long resisted mechanization.

Founded on the conviction that real-world productivity gains require more than isolated bricklaying robots or simple material movers, Reframe describes its approach as “physical AI” for construction – applying robotics and automation within controlled factory environments to deliver repeatable, high-quality building components at scale. Discontinued Electronic Products: In-depth Analysis of PCB Reverse Engineering and IC Unlock Techniques

February 9, 2026 by Sam Francis

You might find old electronic products that are not supported anymore. If you reverse engineer circuit board parts from these, you can fix and improve them. Many people do this to repair old gadgets or make them last longer.

Some want to avoid planned obsolescence. Sometimes, you need to reverse engineer circuit board layouts if you cannot find schematics or repair guides. [Read more…] about Discontinued Electronic Products: In-depth Analysis of PCB Reverse Engineering and IC Unlock Techniques

Interstuhl automates seat coating with Dürr’s robotic mould-surface technology

February 3, 2026 by Sam Francis

High-end furniture design company Interstuhl Büromöbel says it relies on modern coating technology from Dürr for the production of its work chairs for industrial and laboratory applications.

The new system automates the coating of the inner surfaces of foam moulds. Utilising the modular EcoSupply2 Core paint supply station and a 2K process controlled by an EcoAUC, Interstuhl has achieved an efficient coating process with up to five colours.

Interstuhl Büromöbel, headquartered in Meßstetten, is one of Europe’s leading chair manufacturers, producing high-quality office chairs for over 60 years. The company now employs innovative coating technology from Dürr in the production of its industrial and laboratory chairs. Vention raises $110 million to accelerate physical AI across global manufacturing

February 2, 2026 by Sam Francis

Vention, the provider of an AI-powered software and hardware platform for automation and robotics, has raised $110 million in financing, with participation from Investissement Québec, Desjardins Capital, certain funds managed by Fidelity Investments Canada ULC, NVentures (Nvidia’s venture capital arm) and other financial institutions.

The new capital will accelerate Vention’s mission to deliver Zero-Shot Automation, a new paradigm for manufacturing automation that deploys seamlessly, without integration, and operates correctly on the first attempt.

A portion of the investment will also fuel Vention’s expansion across EMEA, strengthening its presence and operations to solidify its position as the standard for automation in the European market. [Read more…] about Vention raises $110 million to accelerate physical AI across global manufacturing

What Can You Learn from Failed UI/UX Design Case Studies?

January 29, 2026 by Sam Francis

Most teams prefer to talk about success. Clean launches. Nice metrics. Happy users. But failures teach more.

Failed UI/UX design case studies show what not to do. They reveal where good intentions go wrong. And they highlight mistakes that repeat across products and industries.

This is why a professional UI design agency studies failures just as closely as wins. Not to assign blame, but to understand patterns that quietly break trust and adoption. [Read more…] about What Can You Learn from Failed UI/UX Design Case Studies?

Benefits of 3D guidance in industrial robots

January 26, 2026 by Sam Francis

Ten years ago, industrial automation was all about pre-programmed movements. Today, it’s capable of much more dynamic and intelligent processes that are less rigid. Core to this has been the integration of advanced vision systems.

This change kicked off while 2D vision was still the dominant form of guidance, but moving to 3D guidance has seen another wave of innovation in manufacturing.

Perceiving depth and spatial orientation has lifted the ceiling on the complexity of tasks robots can handle, but it’s also lifted the floor in how precise and reliable they are too, which is arguably more important. [Read more…] about Benefits of 3D guidance in industrial robots

How to Build an MVP Efficiently by Prioritizing the Right Features

January 20, 2026 by Sam Francis

If you’ve ever said to yourself, “Just this one more feature and we’re “launching” – congratulations, you’re officially in the MVP club.

MVP stands for Minimum Viable Product, that is, in the simplest terms, the smallest version of the product that can actually be used and bring value to the user.

Not a semi-finished product. We don’t “purely exist.” Already a version that makes sense in the real world. [Read more…] about How to Build an MVP Efficiently by Prioritizing the Right Features
