What is a Transparent Proxy?

March 10, 2026 by David Edwards

Understanding how internet traffic is managed behind the scenes often feels like looking inside a glass wall – you know something is there, but you don’t always notice it. That is exactly where the concept of a transparent proxy fits.

It operates quietly, without asking users for permission or configuration, yet it plays a powerful role in how data flows across networks. So, what is a transparent proxy, and why does it matter so much in today’s digital infrastructure? [Read more…] about What is a Transparent Proxy?

ABB Robotics partners with Nvidia to launch ‘hyper real’ version of RobotStudio

March 9, 2026 by David Edwards

ABB Robotics is integrating Nvidia Omniverse libraries into ABB Robotics’ RobotStudio to help manufacturers deploy physical AI in real world robotics applications. (See video below.)

Marc Segura, president of ABB Robotics, said: “Today, using Nvidia accelerated computing and simulation technologies, we have removed the last barriers to making industrial and physical AI a reality at a global scale by closing the sim-to-real gap.

“For more than 50 years, ABB Robotics has led the evolution of intelligent industrial automation, from pioneering the first generation of fully electric industrial robots to advancing digital twin simulation through RobotStudio and shaping a new area of autonomous and versatile mobile robots. Today’s announcement with Nvidia brings physical AI to industry at scale.” [Read more…] about ABB Robotics partners with Nvidia to launch ‘hyper real’ version of RobotStudio

Texas Instruments and Nvidia partner to accelerate humanoid robot development

March 9, 2026 by David Edwards

Texas Instruments is accelerating the “safe deployment of humanoid robots into the real world” with Nvidia. By combining TI’s real-time motor control, sensing, radar and power technologies with Nvidia’s advanced robotics compute, Ethernet-based sensing and simulation technologies, robotics developers can validate perception, actuation and safety earlier and more accurately.

TI connects Nvidia physical AI compute to real-world applications with deterministic control, sensing, power and safety at every joint and subsystem. This partnership will help developers move faster from virtual development to production-ready, scalable and safety-compliant systems.

As part of this collaboration, TI designed a sensor fusion solution by integrating its mmWave radar technology with Nvidia Jetson Thor using Nvidia Holoscan Sensor Bridge to enable low-latency, 3D perception and safety awareness for humanoid robots. TI will showcase the solution at Nvidia GTC, March 16–19, 2026, in San Jose, California. [Read more…] about Texas Instruments and Nvidia partner to accelerate humanoid robot development

The Global Expansion of Data Centers: What Businesses Need to Know

March 5, 2026 by David Edwards

The digital landscape is shifting under our feet, and it’s happening faster than most of us realize. Honestly, it can feel a bit overwhelming to keep up. Not long ago, the conversation around data centers was limited to dusty IT rooms and basement servers.

Today, these facilities have become the literal backbone of the modern economy. As businesses look toward international growth, the physical location of their digital infrastructure has become a deciding factor in their success.

The global expansion of data centers isn’t just a technical trend. It is a fundamental change in how commerce, communication, and innovation function on a global scale. [Read more…] about The Global Expansion of Data Centers: What Businesses Need to Know

From Design to Deployment: Synthetic Data Management in Action

February 26, 2026 by David Edwards

Synthetic data generation has become a practical requirement in modern software delivery. Teams need realistic, compliant datasets on demand – not as a “nice to have”, but as a way to ship faster while reducing privacy risk and improving test coverage.

But most organizations learn quickly that synthetic data generation doesn’t solve the problem by itself. The real challenge is operational: how synthetic data is prepared, governed, maintained, and delivered across environments and pipelines. In practice, synthetic data has to work in two places at once – design and deployment.

That’s the role of enterprise synthetic data management. It turns synthetic data into an operational asset that behaves like real data, preserves cross-system relationships, stays compliant, and is available when teams need it. Here’s what synthetic data management looks like in action – and how organizations move from isolated generation to scalable delivery with K2view. Cloud Storage in a Zero-Trust World: The Need for End-to-End Encryption and Secure File Sharing

February 26, 2026 by David Edwards

In a Zero-Trust world, we need end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and secure file sharing because the old idea of a “secure perimeter” has disappeared. Zero Trust is based on “never trust, always verify”, so the data itself must stay protected at all times.

End-to-end encryption means that even if a cloud provider’s servers are hacked, or someone intercepts data while it is being sent, the information looks like unreadable code to everyone except the approved user.

Secure file sharing extends this idea to collaboration so that sharing files does not open up hidden gaps or weak spots that bypass strict identity checks. [Read more…] about Cloud Storage in a Zero-Trust World: The Need for End-to-End Encryption and Secure File Sharing

Add Filter to Jira Dashboard: Step-by-Step Configuration Guide

February 26, 2026 by David Edwards

Jira dashboards display real-time project information through gadgets that pull data from the system. Without filters applied, gadgets show all issues across all projects, creating information overload that obscures relevant details.

Adding filters to dashboard gadgets focuses displayed data on specific projects, teams, or criteria, transforming generic views into targeted management tools.

Teams learning to add filters to Jira dashboard components create personalized views that surface critical information immediately. [Read more…] about Add Filter to Jira Dashboard: Step-by-Step Configuration Guide
