Best Managed Virtual Assistant Services for Startups in 2026

June 10, 2026 by Sam Francis

Startup founders usually do not need more meetings. They need reliable help with admin, inbox cleanup, CRM follow-ups and front-desk coverage without adding another full-time salary.

I wrote this for operators in robotics, automation and industrial tech who need coverage that can scale without creating more process debt. The picks below cover managed assistants, US executive support, Latin America talent, on-demand task help and AI-plus-human receptionists. How AI APIs are strengthening phishing detection and email security across industrial enterprises

June 10, 2026 by Sam Francis

Phishing is no longer just an IT problem. For manufacturers, robotics integrators, and logistics operators, a single well-crafted fraudulent email can halt a production line, divert a supplier payment, or compromise the credentials that control an automated warehouse. The threat is industrial now, and the defences need to catch up.  [Read more…] about How AI APIs are strengthening phishing detection and email security across industrial enterprises

Mesoware raises $1.5 million funding to build AI-powered robots for manufacturing

June 9, 2026 by Sam Francis

Mesoware has announced $1.5 million to build the next chapter of AI-powered robotics solutions for automated manufacturing. The pre-seed round was led by Pillar VC.

Joe Mattekatt, co-founder and CEO of Mesoware, says: “With hardware costs falling and AI advancing, the final hurdle in robotics is putting it all together at scale.

“Mesoware is that missing link, turning complex robotic integration into plug-and-play solutions that make physical automation accessible to everyone.” [Read more…] about Mesoware raises $1.5 million funding to build AI-powered robots for manufacturing

Nebius and Nvidia launch Physical AI Living Lab for European robotics startups

June 9, 2026 by Sam Francis

Nebius, the AI cloud company, has announced the Physical AI Living Lab, a six-month program that equips British and European robotics startups with Nvidia’s physical AI development tools and Nebius’s AI cloud infrastructure.

Physical AI depends on large-scale simulation, synthetic data, and accelerated compute that most early-stage robotics companies cannot assemble on their own.

The Physical AI Living Lab removes that barrier, putting the same class of tooling and compute used to build physical AI at scale into the hands of founders, so they can move from simulation to real-world deployment faster. TARS brings real-life embodied AI to ICRA 2026 robotics conference

June 8, 2026 by Sam Francis

TARS has capped a landmark appearance at ICRA 2026, IEEE’s international robotics conference, with the international debut of its DexHand platform, drawing significant attention among industrialists and academics.

Dr Ding, TARS’ chief scientist and co-founder, delivered the keynote address in the plenary session.

TARS’ DexHand demonstration showcased all 26 English alphabet sign-language gestures and invited to engage in real-time mirror-control interaction, thus offering live proof of the system’s biomimetic fidelity and low-latency responsiveness. Interview with Columbia professor and co-founder of SceniX Yunzhu Li: ‘Simulation is central’

June 5, 2026 by Sam Francis

The robotics industry is enjoying a surge of investment, media attention, and ambitious promises about the future of humanoid machines.

Companies are announcing plans to manufacture thousands of robots, while advances in artificial intelligence have fueled expectations that general-purpose robots may soon become commonplace in factories, warehouses, workplaces, and even homes.

Yet beneath the excitement lies a fundamental technical challenge that many researchers believe remains far from solved. [Read more…] about Interview with Columbia professor and co-founder of SceniX Yunzhu Li: ‘Simulation is central’

Why robotics can’t advance without physical AI

June 4, 2026 by Sam Francis

The next leap in robotics won’t come from faster processors or more sophisticated mechanical design. It will come from better data, specifically, from training environments that replicate how the physical world actually behaves.  [Read more…] about Why robotics can’t advance without physical AI

Genesis AI launches simulation platform to accelerate robotics development

June 4, 2026 by Sam Francis

Genesis AI has launched Genesis World 1.0, a new robotics simulation platform designed to dramatically reduce the time required to develop, test, and evaluate robotic AI systems.

The company says the platform can compress robotics evaluation cycles from days to minutes by enabling large-scale testing in photorealistic virtual environments rather than relying solely on physical robots.

According to Genesis AI, a robotics foundation model evaluation that would typically require nearly a week of continuous testing on real hardware can be completed in approximately 30 minutes using Genesis World 1.0 running on GPU infrastructure. Physical AI’s looming data rights battle: Interview with Kate Shen of Anaxi Labs

June 2, 2026 by Sam Francis

As artificial intelligence continues its rapid expansion into the physical world, much of the industry’s attention has focused on increasingly capable robots, larger AI models, and the vast datasets required to train them.

But a growing number of observers are asking a different question: who owns the data that makes physical AI possible, and who should benefit from it?

Kate Shen, co-founder of Anaxi Labs, is among those pushing the debate into the spotlight. Her company is developing infrastructure for what it describes as a global AI and robotics data supply chain, with a particular emphasis on worker consent, data ownership, compensation, and regulatory compliance. How Blockchain and Emerging Technologies Are Revolutionizing the Jewelry Industry

June 1, 2026 by Sam Francis

The jewelry industry is one of the world’s oldest luxury markets, but it’s also one of the least transparent when it comes to production methods and origins of materials.

Without easy access to data and information, buyers had to put their trust in the artisans and brands behind each piece.

Luckily, things have taken a drastic turn toward transparency, with more than 87% of modern consumers demanding verified ethical sourcing for both gems and precious metals. [Read more…] about How Blockchain and Emerging Technologies Are Revolutionizing the Jewelry Industry
