Kollmorgen and ifm partner to improve pallet handling with smart automation

Kollmorgen has announced a collaboration with sensor specialist ifm to tackle one of the persistent challenges in warehouses: misaligned pallets disrupting automated workflows.

In many logistics and production sites, manually placed pallets can be slightly off-coordinate, causing problems for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that depend on precise positioning.

Geekplus post-IPO: Warehouse robotics enters the mainstream

Geekplus, the Chinese autonomous mobile robot (AMR) specialist, made headlines in July when it listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The company became the first publicly traded AMR warehouse robotics provider, raising HK$2.71 billion (about $350 million) in the process.

Now, three months on, investors and analysts are beginning to weigh in. The company has posted its first set of interim results as a public business, while broker coverage is starting to emerge with bullish targets.

Geekplus reports record 31 percent revenue growth in first half of 2025

Geekplus, the Hong Kong-listed warehouse robotics company, has reported record revenue growth for the first half of 2025, highlighting accelerating demand for automation in logistics and supply chains.

For the six months ended June 30, 2025, the company posted revenue of RMB 1.025 billion (approximately $144 million), up 31 percent year on year from RMB 782 million in the same period of 2024.

Gross profit rose 43.1 percent to RMB 360 million, lifting gross margin to 35.1 percent. Adjusted EBITDA turned positive for the first time at RMB 11.62 million, compared with a loss of RMB 169.8 million a year earlier. Shanghai Electric debuts its first ‘industrial humanoid robots’

Shanghai Electric has unveiled its first self-developed industrial humanoid robot, “Suyuan”, during its global debut at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference on July 26 in Shanghai.

With 38 degrees of freedom (DoF) and 275 TOPS of on-device computation power, Suyuan delivers precise operations and dynamic movements, making it adaptable to a wide range of industrial application scenarios.

Plus One Robotics launches new depalletizing solution

Plus One Robotics, a developer of AI-powered robotic vision for material handling, in partnership with beRobox, a specialist in modular mobile robotics, has launched DepalOne.

DepalOne is described as a “turnkey depalletizing solution designed to bring fast, flexible automation to modern warehouses without the need for facility modifications or extended downtime”.

Post of Serbia deploys fleet of 153 Libiao robots across its network

Post of Serbia (Pošta Srbije), the national postal service of Serbia, has marked the largest single deployment of postal sorting robots in the Balkan country with the issuing of a special commemorative stamp (see pictures below).

It features a striking image depicting one of Libiao Robotics “mini yellow” sorting robots which have recently been installed within the Post of Serbia’s sortation facility in Belgrade.

Seegrid, a developer of autonomous mobile robots for material handling, has unveiled what it describes as “a major leap forward in autonomous forklift technology”.

The company is expanding its focus on “payload versatility” as it targets more complex applications in manufacturing and logistics environments.

Medline facility becomes AutoStore’s 300th installation in North America
