How to Cut Parcel Damage in Automated Fulfillment

April 23, 2026 by David Edwards

To stop automated fulfillment lines, which will account for 85% of all warehousing nationally by 2030, from shredding your margins, you have to look at the physics of the floor.

Damage in a robotized environment isn’t usually about a single “drop” incident; it is a cumulative result of high-velocity vibration, G-force shifts during AMR acceleration, and rigid sorting hardware that lacks a human touch. [Read more…] about How to Cut Parcel Damage in Automated Fulfillment

AutoStore shifts toward self-optimizing warehouses with CubeVerse and AI-driven analytics

March 19, 2026 by Sam Francis

AutoStore, provider of one of the most widely used automated storage and retrieval systems for warehouses, has launched its CubeVerse platform and new AI-driven capabilities, marking a “major step toward self-optimizing fulfillment”.

AutoStore is introducing new cloud software, AI-powered analytics, and robotic workflows for order preparation and system optimization that can deliver higher throughput in existing systems without additional hardware.

After more than two decades of pioneering cube storage automation, AutoStore is now moving beyond automation alone toward intelligent fulfillment systems that continuously sense, decide, and improve in real time. Hai Robotics achieves EU cybersecurity compliance for automated warehouse systems

October 27, 2025 by Sam Francis

Hai Robotics has announced that its HaiPick Systems have achieved compliance with the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) Articles 3.3(d), marking an important milestone in strengthening cybersecurity standards for connected warehouse automation systems.

The certification, verified by TÜV SÜD, formally validates that Hai Robotics’ autonomous storage and retrieval solutions meet European regulatory requirements for wireless connectivity and data security.

In an increasingly connected logistics environment, the company says cybersecurity is fundamental to ensuring safe and reliable warehouse operations. Hai Robotics’ HaiPick Systems have long followed strict cybersecurity practices for industrial equipment, and the TÜV SÜD evaluation now formally recognizes that commitment.
