Richtech Robotics signs ‘multi-million-dollar sales agreement’ with Beijing company
Richtech Robotics, a Nevada-based provider of AI-driven service robots, has signed a multi-million-dollar sales agreement with Beijing Tongchuang Technology through its Chinese joint venture, Boyu Artificial Intelligence Technology.
The agreement, valued at over $4 million, includes the purchase, service, and software licensing of products from three of Richtech’s key product lines: Adam, Scorpion, and Titan.
The deal expands the company’s footprint in China and opens the door for additional potential opportunities across the Asian market. Galbot raises $151 million to scale embodied AI humanoid robots, partners with Bosch investment arm
Chinese robotics startup Galaxy General Robot Co. – also known as Galbot – has raised $151 million in a funding round led by battery giant CATL and Puquan Capital, bringing its total investment to more than $330 million since its founding in 2023.
The company also announced a strategic joint venture with Boyuan Capital, the investment arm of Bosch Group, to accelerate the global commercialization of embodied AI robots.
Founded by Professor He Wang of Peking University – a Stanford-trained scientist – Galbot specializes in embodied artificial intelligence, which enables robots to perceive and interact with the physical world in a more human-like manner. The Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) has reached a groundbreaking milestone in humanoid robotics by demonstrating the first flight of iRonCub3, the world’s first jet-powered flying humanoid robot specifically designed to operate in real-world environments.
The research team studied the complex aerodynamics of the artificial body and developed an advanced control model for systems composed of several interconnected parts. The overall work on iRonCub3, including real flight tests, took about two years.
