Russian companies will be represented at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona

From the 28th of February to the 3rd of March world congress and the largest exhibition of the global mobile communications system GSMA’s Mobile World Congress 2022 will be held in Barcelona.

About 1,500 companies from 150 countries are expected to attend the event.

Automotive software company TTTech Auto raises $285 million investment from Aptiv and Audi

TTTech Auto, an Austria-based automotive safety technology startup, has raised $285 million (€250 million) from Aptiv and Audi in its latest funding round.

Aptiv is investing $228 million (€200 million), while Audi is increasing its existing stake by $57 million (€50 million).

With this latest funding round and a valuation of more than $1 billion, TTTech Auto confirms its strong position amid a growing number of auto tech unicorns. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close within the next two months. Novanta partners with MassRobotics to ‘advance next generation of robotics’

Schaeffler acquires precision gearbox maker Melior Motion

Schaeffler, a billion-dollar German company which supplies bearings and other components to the automotive and aerospace industries, has signed an agreement to acquire all of the shares of Melior Motion.

The acquisition of this supplier of precision gearboxes for robotics and other applications in automation expands the robotics portfolio of the Schaeffler Group’s industrial division.

As automation of simple, repetitive tasks as well as complex mounting and manufacturing processes is progressing rapidly, Schaeffler’s industrial division is expanding its position as a supplier for robotics components and systems.
