Why Semi-Truck Accident Claims Bring Unique Legal Hurdles

May 21, 2026 by Sam Francis

The Bronx sits at the center of some of New York City’s busiest transportation routes, with major highways carrying a constant flow of commercial traffic through densely populated neighborhoods every day.

Delivery trucks, freight carriers, and long-haul semi-trucks move through the borough at all hours, sharing crowded roads with commuters, buses, cyclists, and pedestrians.

When a collision involving a large commercial truck occurs, the aftermath is often far more serious than a standard car accident, leaving victims with severe injuries, mounting medical costs, and uncertainty about how to move forward. Parallel Systems raises $100 million to bring autonomous freight trains into mainstream logistics

May 20, 2026 by David Edwards

Parallel Systems is developing what it describes as the world’s first autonomous freight train system, as the broader logistics industry increasingly shifts toward automated and autonomous transportation technologies.

The Los Angeles-based company has raised approximately $100 million to date and is currently conducting commercial testing of its autonomous rail vehicles in Georgia in partnership with Genesee & Wyoming under oversight from the Federal Railroad Administration.

Founded in 2020 by former SpaceX engineer Matt Soule, the company is attempting to modernize freight rail using electric, autonomous, software-controlled rail vehicles designed to operate without traditional locomotives or onboard engineers. Why Delivery Robots Are Becoming Essential in Modern Automation

April 28, 2026 by David Edwards

Modern automation is shifting from a traditional factory-centric model toward an intelligent network driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital systems. In this process, delivery robots are becoming increasingly important.

Their core value lies in extending automation from “handling digital tasks” to “performing real-world delivery operations,” enabling industries such as logistics, healthcare, and retail to achieve true end-to-end automation.

Unlike traditional equipment, delivery robots can move and operate autonomously in complex real-world environments, making them a key technology for connecting AI systems with real-world operations. [Read more…] about Why Delivery Robots Are Becoming Essential in Modern Automation

Dexterity says its physical AI world model ‘unlocks full potential on Nvidia hardware’

March 22, 2026 by Sam Francis

Dexterity.ai, a specialist in industrial robotics and physical AI, has detailed how its production-proven world model, Foresight, is “unlocking new levels of performance” on Nvidia hardware as the company scales in enterprise environments.

Before any action or motion planning can begin, Foresight must build a complete picture of the scene from raw multi-modal sensor data.

Dexterity’s engineering team redesigned the perception pipeline to take full advantage of Nvidia L4 GPUs and TensorRT, reducing it from 1,508 ms to 90 ms per cycle, a 17x speedup across three stages: object decomposition, geometric reconstruction, and physics synthesis. Why Real-Time Reporting Matters for Autonomous Warehouse Robotics

October 24, 2025 by Sam Francis

Automation has transformed how warehouses operate. From picking and packing to storage and dispatch, robots now handle complex workflows with remarkable accuracy.

Yet, even in highly automated environments, one thing determines whether these systems perform at their best: real-time reporting.

Integrations like the Blended Connectors allow operations teams to merge robotic data, logistics insights, and performance metrics into a single live dashboard. [Read more…] about Why Real-Time Reporting Matters for Autonomous Warehouse Robotics
