Neolix partners with QuikBot to develop autonomous delivery network

June 4, 2026 by Sam Francis

Neolix, a developer of Level 4 autonomous logistics vehicles, has announced a strategic partnership with Singapore-based deep-tech company QuikBot Technologies, to build an end-to-end autonomous delivery solution spanning public roads, building interiors and individual doorsteps.

The collaboration will support Neolix’s Singapore pilot deployment and compliance preparation, while advancing both companies’ autonomous delivery offerings across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and other global markets.

In this collaboration, the two companies will co-develop and integrate Neolix’s autonomous mobility capabilities and fleet operations with QuikBot’s Autonomous Final-Mile Delivery Platform-as-a-Service (AFMD PaaS) to create a continuous delivery chain from public roads into buildings and to individual doors. Serve Robotics expands beyond food delivery with autonomous laundry service

June 4, 2026 by Sam Francis

Serve Robotics has announced a new partnership with NoScrubs, a fast-growing on-demand laundry service, marking Serve’s first commercial urban delivery partnership outside of prepared food.

The pilot, launching this week in select Los Angeles neighborhoods, will use Serve’s existing fleet of autonomous sidewalk robots to deliver NoScrubs laundry orders directly to customers’ doors.

The commercial pilot extends Serve’s last-mile delivery opportunity into a new category of recurring local commerce. NoScrubs operates across seven major US metros. [Read more…] about Serve Robotics expands beyond food delivery with autonomous laundry service

Why Delivery Robots Are Becoming Essential in Modern Automation

April 28, 2026 by David Edwards

Modern automation is shifting from a traditional factory-centric model toward an intelligent network driven by artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital systems. In this process, delivery robots are becoming increasingly important.

Their core value lies in extending automation from “handling digital tasks” to “performing real-world delivery operations,” enabling industries such as logistics, healthcare, and retail to achieve true end-to-end automation.

Unlike traditional equipment, delivery robots can move and operate autonomously in complex real-world environments, making them a key technology for connecting AI systems with real-world operations. [Read more…] about Why Delivery Robots Are Becoming Essential in Modern Automation

Amazon acquires delivery robotics startup Rivr to target ‘last-meter’ logistics

March 23, 2026 by Sam Francis

Amazon has reportedly acquired Swiss robotics startup Rivr Technologies, a company developing autonomous robots designed to deliver packages from vans to customers’ doorsteps.

The e-commerce giant has not issued a formal press release about the deal. However, it confirmed the acquisition in communications to delivery partners, saying it had “recently acquired Rivr”, according to reports by Euronews and other media outlets. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Rivr, an ETH Zurich spinout, develops quadruped delivery robots capable of navigating real-world environments, including steps, curbs, and uneven terrain. The machines are designed to accompany human drivers and handle the final stage of delivery – often considered one of the most time-consuming and labor-intensive parts of logistics operations. Chicago residents push to pause delivery robot pilot over safety and accessibility concerns

November 27, 2025 by David Edwards

More than 800 Chicago residents have signed a petition calling on the city to pause its sidewalk delivery robot pilot, citing safety, accessibility and privacy concerns as more machines begin operating in neighbourhoods such as Lakeview.

The petition, hosted at NoSidewalkBots.org, urges the city to “pause the sidewalk-robot program until CDOT & BACP release safety & ADA findings, evaluate that data and local job impacts in a public hearing, and set clear rules.”

CBS Chicago reported that the robots – operated by Serve Robotics and Coco Robotics – are now a common sight in parts of the North Side. But not every resident is comfortable sharing the pavement with them. [Read more…] about Chicago residents push to pause delivery robot pilot over safety and accessibility concerns
