How Businesses Should Handle Recalls and Resulting Negative Publicity

December 16, 2024 by Mark Allinson

If you run a business that makes physical products, then it’s highly likely you will have to do a recall at some point. It’s a natural part of doing business. The more physical products you make, the more probable that you’ll run into this issue at some juncture.

If you’re running a smaller company, then a product recall might involve a few thousand products. The larger you get, the more disruptive a recall can seem.

For instance, Takata recently recalled 67 million airbags. They had little choice, though. Often, when a company has to do a recall, they realize that if they don’t move forward on this issue, they might have a class action lawsuit from injured consumers somewhere down the line. November 24, 2022 by Mark Allinson

New and established businesses often find it difficult to grow their Instagram followings. However, doing so doesn’t have to be a challenge. Use the following tips to grow an Instagram following in less time than one can imagine.

If you want an easy way to get more followers, purchase them from a reputable provider. This is an effective way to increase the number of followers a site has, but it isn’t a long-term solution. Organic followers produce the best results, so use the paid followers to fill in the gap as other methods are put into place.

The process of building a solid following takes time. This is why many businesses choose to purchase them. When doing so, however, ensure the provider is reputable. Paid followers only benefit a business if they are of high quality.  [Read more…] about How to Rapidly Grow Your Instagram Following

Honeywell partners with Otto Motors to develop robotic solutions for supply chain operations

March 26, 2022 by David Edwards

Honeywell has agreed a strategic collaboration with Otto Motors, a division of Clearpath Robotics, giving warehouses and distribution centers throughout North America an automated option to handle some of the most labor-intensive roles in an increasingly scarce job market.

The collaboration enables Honeywell customers to increase efficiency, reduce errors and improve safety by deploying Otto’ autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in their facilities.

These AMRs provide significant productivity benefits by automating the movement of carts used to transport picked orders or returns and can travel over any floor surface smooth enough to handle a traditional cart pushed by a worker.
