How Robotics Work in the Plastic Injection Molding Industry

June 26, 2020 by Polly

Driven by the never-ending increasing demand for more flexible solutions, industrial robots are extensively used in today’s plastics industry in all areas of the production process, including injection molding related operations.

Industrial robots can be used to automate the injection molding process by using a pick-and-place robot to load plastic parts into the machine or to place the finished pieces onto a conveyor belt.

And as human-operated injection molding leaves room for variations, the use of robots in the process ensures the production of the highest quality, accurately cut, formed, and measured finished products every single time. How Technology Changed the Way of Marketing

June 23, 2020 by Polly

With the passage of time, there has always been a growth in technology. We have made our lives quite easier with different technologies and robotics. Thus, the ways in which we market a particular product or service have also changed.

In the present time, people prefer to spend their time with technology rather than going outdoors. This implies that offline marketing methods are no more effective in the current scenario.

However, here are the top ways in which developing technology has changed the way of marketing. [Read more…] about How Technology Changed the Way of Marketing

Autonomous cars and intelligent road systems improve road safety

June 22, 2020 by David Edwards

Last year, there was a 2 percent reduction in the number of road fatalities in the US. One of the reasons for this drop is the increasing use of automated driver assistance systems now fitted into most new vehicles.

By minimizing the effects of human error, these additions can help to reduce the number of crashes, and the development of fully self-driving cars could improve safety even more.

As the adoption of autonomous vehicles spreads, roads could be made even safer and more efficient with intelligent infrastructure and traffic management systems, such as smart traffic signals, and even robot traffic controllers. 6 Ways Autonomous Vehicles Will Impact Life As We Know It

June 22, 2020 by Polly

In 2015, Google, under Alphabet Inc, produced the first autonomous (self-driving) car, and today we have more than 19 autonomous parts manufacturers in the world. In the US, automated vehicles have already started roaming the streets and integrated with self-driven cars.

Based on that, researchers have moved from wondering if these cars should exist to observe how they potentially impact cities and their residents if all vehicles become autonomous. Additionally, it’s been estimated that by 2035, 10 percent of road vehicles will be autonomous, and by 2050, that number will increase significantly to over 50 percent. This will, no doubt, impact life as we know it.

In this article, we will further examine the ways autonomous vehicles will impact our lives, from little things all the way to the big ones. [Read more…] about 6 Ways Autonomous Vehicles Will Impact Life As We Know It

CNC vs Robotics: Which One is Better in the Manufacturing Segment?

June 8, 2020 by David Edwards

Within the modern manufacturing industry, both CNC machining and robotics are crucial elements of automation.

There is, however, some confusion regarding whether CNC can be considered as a part of robotics itself, or if the preprogrammed machining system deserves a category of its own.

A more important and practical query on the other hand is the simple, comparative question – which technology is better? [Read more…] about CNC vs Robotics: Which One is Better in the Manufacturing Segment?

Robotic MIG vs TIG Welding: Picking the Right Option

June 2, 2020 by Polly

Being able to pinpoint the right type of welding for your specific robotic welding application is a crucial decision.

The truth is, not all robotic welding types are equal even though they produce outcomes that are similar.

Two types that are most common of this type of welding are metal inert gas (MIG) and tungsten inert gas (TIG). [Read more…] about Robotic MIG vs TIG Welding: Picking the Right Option
