How Distressed M&A Transactions Differ from Standard Acquisition Processes

June 20, 2026 by Sam Francis

A standard acquisition process is designed to maximize seller value. A distressed deal is designed to preserve value before it erodes further, satisfy creditor priorities, or stabilize a business under financial pressure.

That difference changes everything: who controls the process, how much information buyers receive, how fast decisions must be made, and which risks matter most.

Buyers who approach a distressed M&A process as if it were a normal acquisition often lose time in the wrong places. They expect full seller cooperation, complete documentation, broad representations and warranties, and a timeline measured in months. June 17, 2026 by Sam Francis

The competition among enterprise agile frameworks that dominated practitioner conversations for much of the last decade has largely resolved.

SAFe – the Scaled Agile Framework – has emerged as the dominant approach for large enterprises navigating agile at scale, and its adoption at the organizations with the largest hiring volumes has created a specific and concentrated credential demand with documented salary premiums.  [Read more…] about SAFe Has Won Enterprise Agile – What That Means for Your Career

Can a Digital Checking Account Help You Track Spending Better?

June 16, 2026 by Sam Francis

A checking account is often the center of daily money management. It is where paychecks land, bills are paid and everyday purchases are made. When spending moves quickly, it can be hard to know exactly where money is going.

A digital checking account can help by giving users faster access to balances, transactions and account tools from a phone or computer.

This does not mean the account does all the work. Good money habits still matter. But when the right features are used consistently, digital checking can make spending easier to see, easier to understand and easier to control. June 12, 2026 by Sam Francis

Watching a server collapse under the weight of an unexpected traffic spike is a highly specific kind of agony. You watch the analytics dashboard turn bright red, panic sets in, Slack messages pile up, and somewhere on Twitter (AKA, X) an angry mob starts forming.

Traffic management beforehand is the only thing standing between a good product launch and a PR disaster. Let’s look at the options out there right now in 2026 instead of trying to duct-tape a solution together. June 11, 2026 by Sam Francis

The Healey-Driscoll Administration and the Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM), a division of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech), has announced the first cohort of 20 manufacturers participating in a redesigned Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerator Program (MMAP), an updated initiative that combines capital grant funding with no-cost equipment assessments, expert guidance, and peer learning opportunities to help small- and medium-sized manufacturers modernize, grow and compete.

This program supports small- and medium-sized manufacturers with grant funding. It will also provide recipients with access to workshops, peer learning and hands-on guidance to help companies modernize and grow.

How AI APIs are strengthening phishing detection and email security across industrial enterprises

June 10, 2026 by Sam Francis

Phishing is no longer just an IT problem. For manufacturers, robotics integrators, and logistics operators, a single well-crafted fraudulent email can halt a production line, divert a supplier payment, or compromise the credentials that control an automated warehouse. The threat is industrial now, and the defences need to catch up.  [Read more…] about How AI APIs are strengthening phishing detection and email security across industrial enterprises

6 Best Virtual Data Rooms for Secure Due Diligence and Deal Management

June 8, 2026 by Sam Francis

Global dealmaking is getting more concentrated. Specifically, transactions are becoming fewer in number but more complex. Global M&A value rose 43% to $4.7 trillion last year.

At the same time, volumes remained flat with large transactions driving the activity. Dealmaking accounted for 4.2% of global market value, up from 3.3% the previous year. This reflects sustained momentum in high-value transactions.

Greater deal complexity puts more weight on collaboration, compliance, and data security. Thus, execution infrastructure matters as much as the deal itself. [Read more…] about 6 Best Virtual Data Rooms for Secure Due Diligence and Deal Management
