GreyOrange and Vicarious launch autonomous vertical pick-and-pack solution for apparel

March 8, 2021 by Mai Tao

GreyOrange, a provider of AI-enabled software and robotics for fulfillment automation, is partnering with Vicarious, an AI robotic integrator that automates tasks too versatile and complex to be handled by traditional, hard-coded automation systems.

Together Vicarious and GreyOrange have launched what they say is “the industry’s first and only autonomous vertical picking solution for automated pick-n-pack operations in omnichannel fulfillment”.

Autonomous Vertical Picking from Vicarious interfaces smoothly into a global workflow orchestrated by GreyOrange’s GreyMatter Fulfillment Operating System (FOS), which uses advanced science to continuously evaluate order fulfillment performance and prioritize decisions and workflows. Locus Robotics reaches picking milestone of 250 million units in warehouses

November 24, 2020 by Sam Francis

Locus Robotics, a provider of autonomous mobile robots for fulfillment warehouses, says that it has now passed the 250 million units picked volume level heading into the 2020 holiday peak season.

Locus robots now pick more than 10,000 units every 15 minutes, a 263 percent increase in units picked compared with the same period last year.

Locus’s 250 million pick milestone reflects the rapidly growing volumes at customer sites throughout this pandemic-impacted year, with some customers’ daily orders often reaching Black Friday levels. [Read more…] about Locus Robotics reaches picking milestone of 250 million units in warehouses
