How to Choose the Right Size CIP Unit for Your Brewery’s Needs?

December 13, 2024 by Mark Allinson

Selecting the right Clean-In-Place (CIP) unit is crucial for maintaining hygiene and efficiency in your brewery. The size of your CIP system directly impacts cleaning effectiveness, operational costs, and production capacity.

A properly sized CIP unit ensures thorough cleaning of tanks and pipelines while optimizing water and chemical usage.

Brewery size, tank volumes, and production schedules are key factors in determining the appropriate CIP unit size. Smaller craft breweries may benefit from portable compact CIP systems that offer flexibility and cost-effectiveness. French robotics market expected to grow by 7,000 installations a year

February 16, 2024 by David Edwards

Under the impetus of the France 2030 plan and the impact of the various crises, French manufacturers are accelerating the automation of their production lines to gain productivity, efficiency and working conditions.

Proof of this is that the French market is expected to grow by 7,000 industrial robotic installations per year in the coming years according to the International Federation of Robotics.

In order to go further in optimizing the flows of their factories, a key competitiveness issue, manufacturers must today automate their intralogistics, “long considered the poor relation”, to improve the rate and quality of preparation of kits of parts intended for manufacturing orders, while reducing the arduousness of operations. Taurob and Equinor to introduce autonomous robots on Norway’s offshore platforms

April 15, 2021 by Sam Francis

Norwegian petroleum refining company Equinor is introducing autonomous ATEX-certified robots on their oil and gas installations.

ATEX is the European certification given to equipment tested and approved to be “intrinsically safe”.

Partner in the project is inspection robotics specialist Taurob of Austria. Its robot will be used to conduct routine inspection and maintenance tasks on offshore installations.

Taurob started developing robotics applied for human safety, particularly in emergency response situations, 11 years ago. Safety is also the main driver for the energy domain to step into robotics. [Read more…] about Taurob and Equinor to introduce autonomous robots on Norway’s offshore platforms
