How a Truck Accident Lawyer Handles Complex Cases

January 25, 2026 by Sam Francis

Texas is a state built on commerce and transportation, with thousands of commercial trucks moving across its highways every day to keep industries running.

While this activity fuels the economy, it also increases the likelihood of serious truck accidents that can leave victims facing overwhelming legal and financial challenges.

These cases are rarely simple, often involving multiple parties, complex regulations, and high-stakes insurance disputes. Understanding how a truck accident lawyer handles complex cases is essential for anyone trying to protect their rights after such a collision. Robotics for good: Startups tackling social and environmental challenges

December 28, 2025 by Sam Francis

Robotics is most often discussed in terms of productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction. Factory automation, warehouse robots, and autonomous vehicles dominate the conversation.

Yet a quieter strand of innovation is focused elsewhere:

  • on helping people live more independently;
  • protecting fragile ecosystems; and
  • responding to crises where human access is limited or dangerous.

This feature looks at a selection of startups and emerging technologies applying robotics to social and environmental challenges. The aim is not to romanticise the field, but to show how practical machines are being designed to solve problems that markets and policy alone have struggled to address. FDA approves Flow Neuroscience’s at-home brain stimulation treatment for depression

December 11, 2025 by David Edwards

Flow Neuroscience has announced FDA approval of their breakthrough Flow at-home brain-stimulation device for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). FDA approval marks the first time in history American clinicians are able to prescribe a novel at-home non-drug therapy as both a stand-alone and an adjunctive treatment for adults with moderate to severe depression.

Currently, depression affects more than 20 million US adults, a 60 percent increase over the last decade. Around a third of these patients are not responsive to antidepressants, and many stop treatment because of side effects such as sexual dysfunction, weight gain, a sense of feeling emotionally blunted, and many others.
