Vecna Robotics adds voice control to case picking automation with CaseFlow Voice

March 31, 2026 by Sam Francis

Vecna Robotics, a provider of flexible material handling automation, has announced CaseFlow Voice, which the company says is the only case picking automation solution with fully integrated voice technology.

CaseFlow Voice embeds Lucas Systems’ “Jennifer” voice capabilities directly into case picking workflows, enabling hands-free operations that improve worker productivity and accuracy while helping warehouses achieve up to 2x throughput improvements.

CaseFlow Voice addresses a critical challenge in operations like cold storage, where gloves, condensation, and limited dexterity make screens and scanners difficult to use. By supporting both voice and handheld interfaces, CaseFlow adapts to a wider range of warehouse conditions while maintaining ease of use and performance. Emobility Application Development Services for Automated EV Ecosystems

March 31, 2026 by Sam Francis

EV adoption is accelerating across logistics, public transport, and energy retail. Charging networks, fleet management systems, energy platforms, and partner APIs all run in parallel but rarely communicate.

Dispatchers manually coordinate sessions that should trigger automatically. Energy managers export spreadsheets that a platform should process in real time. At scale, these gaps become a ceiling on growth.

eMobility solutions built on purpose-designed emobility application development services replace that patchwork with connected, automated EV ecosystems. [Read more…] about Emobility Application Development Services for Automated EV Ecosystems

Positronic Robotics launches ‘PhAIL’ benchmark to test real-world performance of physical AI systems

March 31, 2026 by Sam Francis

Positronic Robotics has introduced a new benchmarking initiative aimed at evaluating how well AI-driven robots perform in real-world industrial tasks, as interest grows in so-called “physical AI” systems.

The benchmark, called PhAIL (Physical AI Leaderboard), measures robotic performance using operational metrics such as units per hour and mean time between failures, rather than traditional academic indicators like task success rates. According to the company, the goal is to align evaluation methods more closely with how automation is assessed in commercial environments.

Initial testing focuses on bin-to-bin picking – a common task in logistics and manufacturing – using a standardized robotic setup. The system runs repeated trials on physical hardware, with each run recorded and published alongside telemetry and performance data. Humanoid robot prices fall from $85,000 to $25,000 as global market splits into tiers

March 31, 2026 by Sam Francis

The humanoid robotics industry may be approaching its first real commercial inflection point – and the signal is not a new product launch or funding round, but a sharp and accelerating decline in prices.

Recent disclosures from Unitree Robotics suggest the average price of its humanoid robots fell from approximately $85,000 in 2023 to about $25,000 in 2025 – a drop of more than 70 percent in just two years. While that figure comes from a single company, broader market data suggests the trend is not isolated.

Across the sector, humanoid robot prices now span a wide range – from around $16,000 for lower-cost platforms to more than $250,000 for advanced industrial systems, with most commercial models clustered between $20,000 and $120,000. Measuring ROI from Intranet Investments as Organizations Scale Advanced Automation

March 30, 2026 by Sam Francis

As automation becomes central to operations, organizations face growing pressure to demonstrate the value of internal systems like intranets. Reliable measurement of intranet Return On Investment (ROI) requires linking platform performance to automation outcomes and real operational results.

With automation scaling rapidly in many sectors, organizations are increasingly scrutinizing the ROI of their intranet investments. Internal communication and knowledge management become more complex as processes grow automated, raising the strategic profile of modern intranet systems.

In highly automated environments, intranet platforms are expected to actively support how work gets done. Organizations often rely on resources such as an intranet software comparison report to evaluate available solutions, compare features, and understand how different platforms align with business needs.
