Tennant deepens Brain Corp partnership to accelerate robotic cleaning push and product rollout

April 15, 2026 by David Edwards

Tennant Company has announced a “significant evolution” in its long-standing relationship with Brain Corp, signing a three-year exclusivity extension for next-generation robotic floor care, accelerating new product development with plans to release 10 new products within 24 months, and simplifying the customer buying experience.

Together, these actions support the growth of Tennant’s strategic focus on robotic cleaning and reinforce the company’s commitment to build its autonomous equipment portfolio into a $250 million business by 2028.

This evolution builds on the formation of the Tennant Company Robotics team, a dedicated venture that consolidates resources across sales, research and development, product management, customer success, and technical support into a single, vertically integrated organization focused exclusively on robotics. AI-enabled floor cleaning: How floor scrubbers break through the technological barriers of traditional cleaning

November 22, 2025 by David Edwards

As global cleaning automation accelerates at a CAGR exceeding 25%, the limitations of traditional floor-cleaning machines have become increasingly visible.

Manual and semi-automatic scrubbers lack the perception, intelligence, and adaptability required in modern commercial environments. Transparent liquids remain undetectable, complex terrain disrupts cleaning patterns, and inconsistent human operation causes variable cleaning quality.

Tineco, a pioneer in smart cleaning technology, is redefining the category through advanced AI-powered floor scrubbers engineered for industrial, retail, healthcare, transportation, and large-scale facilities. Tennant expands autonomous cleaning robot production in Europe

September 24, 2025 by Sam Francis

Tennant Company, a manufacturer professional robotic cleaning technology, says it is expanding its autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturing at its Uden factory in the Netherlands, to meet growing demand across the EMEA region.

The move includes the start of European production for Tennant’s latest innovation, the X4 ROVR – a compact, AI-powered robotic floor scrubber designed for high-traffic commercial environments such as airports, shopping centres, and hospitals.

This follows the successful roll out of T16AMR production in Uden since January 2025 and reflects Tennant’s strategy to localise manufacturing, reduce environmental impact, and accelerate delivery times for European customers. Pudu Robotics launches self-cleaning docking station for its robots

September 23, 2025 by Sam Francis

Pudu Robotics, a provider of service robotics, has launched the Self-Cleaning Docking Station, the latest addition to the Pudu CC1 Series ecosystem.

The new docking station enables the Pudu CC1 series to perform automated, dock-assisted cleaning cycles that keep critical cleaning components in peak condition while substantially reducing routine upkeep.

The Self-Cleaning Docking Station expands Pudu’s portfolio of cleaning solutions which includes the standard Docking Station for automated refilling, drainage, and charging, and the Mobile Water Station for flexible deployment in facilities without direct plumbing access.

Together, these innovations give facility operators a complete set of tools for achieving consistent, unattended cleaning. [Read more…] about Pudu Robotics launches self-cleaning docking station for its robots
