Symbotic surpasses 2 billion cases processed as demand for physical AI accelerates

May 13, 2026 by David Edwards

Symbotic, a provider of AI-enabled robotics technology for the supply chain, has announced a number of key 2025 operating milestones that reflect accelerating adoption and strong customer outcomes as the company continues to scale its physical AI platform across production environments.

In 2025, Symbotic’s autonomous mobile robots collectively traveled more than 200 million miles – activity that ranks the bots among the most traveled autonomous vehicle fleets in the world.

Symbotic’s operational systems processed 2.23 billion cases for its customers, inbound and outbound. [Read more…] about Symbotic surpasses 2 billion cases processed as demand for physical AI accelerates

Seegrid surpasses 20 million autonomous miles in industrial facilities

May 12, 2026 by David Edwards

Autonomous mobile robot developer Seegrid says its fleet has surpassed 20 million autonomous miles driven across customer production environments, marking a major milestone for the company’s operations in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.

The company says the total distance travelled by its autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) is equivalent to circling the Earth more than 800 times, with all miles logged inside active industrial facilities rather than controlled test environments.

Seegrid’s systems are deployed in large-scale production operations, including automotive manufacturing plants and warehouse environments operating around the clock. [Read more…] about Seegrid surpasses 20 million autonomous miles in industrial facilities

Continental installs autonomous mobile robots to streamline tire production at Hanover-Stöcken plant

November 27, 2025 by David Edwards

Continental has introduced seven autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at its ContiLifeCycle (CLC) retreading plant in Hanover-Stöcken, where the machines have been “keeping things moving since March 2025”.

The robots – which Continental appears to have built by itself in-house, perhaps with some help from external companies, whose modules may have integrated – are used to transport green tires across the facility, taking over repetitive in-plant logistics tasks and allowing workers to focus on skilled activities such as machine setup and quality control.

“Self-driving robots have been supporting our production workflow for six months now,” said Felix Hantelmann, head of the ContiLifeCycle plant. [Read more…] about Continental installs autonomous mobile robots to streamline tire production at Hanover-Stöcken plant

Richtech Robotics unveils its first humanoid robot for ‘real-world work’

October 28, 2025 by Sam Francis

Richtech Robotics, a US-based provider of AI-driven robotics solutions, has unveiled Dex, the company’s first mobile humanoid robot for industrial use.

Accelerated by the Nvidia Jetson Thor, Dex is capable of operating in dynamic environments, adapt with real time reasoning, and perform complex tasks with detailed precision, all while operating for a full workday on a single charge.

Richtech is using Nvidia technology to accelerate Dex’s training across diverse industrial and commercial contexts.
By combining real-world data with Nvidia Isaac Sim, an open, reference robotics simulation framework, Dex is able to learn tasks virtually at an exponential rate, and implement behaviors into a live industrial environment. Robotize partners with Nord Modules to launch ‘game-changing’ autonomous mobile robot

October 21, 2025 by Sam Francis

Robotize, the innovator behind the GoPal Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) series, and Nord Modules, the expert in modular transfer solutions, have formed a new strategic partnership and have launched their first joint product: the GoPal P35 AMR powered by the Nord Quick Mover 260 module.

This dynamic duo brings the best of both worlds together: Robotize’s cutting-edge AMR technology and Nord Modules’ intelligent, plug-and-play transfer modules. The result? A sleek, smart, and powerful solution that takes intralogistics automation to the next level.

The GoPal P35 with the Nord Quick Mover 260 can pick up, transport and deliver payloads up to 260 kg (570 lbs) from conveyors, lifters, and workstations, while safely navigating busy production and warehouse environments.
