Symbotic, a provider of AI-enabled robotics technology for the supply chain, has announced a number of key 2025 operating milestones that reflect accelerating adoption and strong customer outcomes as the company continues to scale its physical AI platform across production environments.
In 2025, Symbotic’s autonomous mobile robots collectively traveled more than 200 million miles – activity that ranks the bots among the most traveled autonomous vehicle fleets in the world.
Symbotic’s operational systems processed 2.23 billion cases for its customers, inbound and outbound.
Over the course of 2025, Symbotic saw an increase of more than 20 percent in the number of miles traveled – and a 9 percent increase in the number of cases handled – per bot daily, across its fleet of SymBot autonomous mobile robots moving goods in customer distribution centers.
Rick Cohen, chairman and CEO of Symbotic, says: “These milestones reflect what matters most to our customers: measurable performance, rapid time-to-value, and systems that deliver every day.
“The scale and consistency we’re demonstrating underscore both the accelerating adoption of our platform and the tangible impact physical AI is delivering.”
The scale of Symbotic’s customer impact is further reflected in its fleet’s mileage:
In 2025, 84 percent of its SymBot mobile robots averaged more than 40 miles traveled per day, with almost one-third (31 percent) traveling 50 or more miles per day.
Bot #9806 is Symbotic’s most traveled SymBot mobile robot, with over 52,000 miles logged to-date – more than twice the distance around the Earth, and representing an average of 55.5 miles daily.
Symbotic estimates that the cumulative lifetime distance of its SymBot mobile robots to-date totals over 330 million miles.
As Symbotic expands deployments, the company remains focused on delivering efficient, accurate and reliable performance across its customer operations.
