RLWRLD raises $26 million, bringing total funding to $41 million

March 11, 2026 by David Edwards

RLWRLD, a physical AI company developing robotics foundation models – software intelligence trained directly in real industrial environments – has closed a Seed 2 funding round, bringing its total seed investment to approximately $41 million.

The latest round raised approximately $26 million, following a $15 million Seed 1 round. The company said the new funding was driven not solely by capital needs but by a strategic push to expand its coalition of industry-based strategic investors (SIs) as demand for collaborative deployments accelerates.

The Seed 2 round includes financial investors Headline Asia, a Silicon Valley-based global venture capital firm, and Z Venture Capital Corporation, the corporate venture arm of Z Holdings – the merged entity of Yahoo Japan and LINE. What is a Transparent Proxy?

March 10, 2026 by David Edwards

Understanding how internet traffic is managed behind the scenes often feels like looking inside a glass wall – you know something is there, but you don’t always notice it. That is exactly where the concept of a transparent proxy fits.

It operates quietly, without asking users for permission or configuration, yet it plays a powerful role in how data flows across networks. So, what is a transparent proxy, and why does it matter so much in today’s digital infrastructure? [Read more…] about What is a Transparent Proxy?

Saildrone adds seabed imaging capability to autonomous Voyager ocean drones

March 9, 2026 by David Edwards

Saildrone, a specialist in autonomous ocean exploration, says it has successfully integrated and operated a sub-bottom profiler (SBP) on a Saildrone Voyager unmanned surface vehicle (USV).

The capability was first used in the Baltic Sea to monitor critical infrastructure and survey the seabed while supporting the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO).

The Innomar Medium USV SBP is a parametric, high-resolution system designed to acquire full-waveform acoustic data that reveals the structure, layering, and composition of the seafloor and sub-seafloor. [Read more…] about Saildrone adds seabed imaging capability to autonomous Voyager ocean drones

PwC predicts ‘moon economy’ will be worth around $127 billion by 2050

March 8, 2026 by David Edwards

As NASA revises Artemis and PwC outlines $127 billion revenue by 2050 for the ‘moon economy’, experts warn that alternative energy infrastructure, not just transportation, will determine whether lunar surface activities will survive long-term

NASA has recently announced major changes to its Moon landing program, Artemis. While crewed missions to the lunar surface were planned for 2028, the administration decided to add a preparatory step to test commercial landers in Earth’s orbit a year earlier, in 2027.

This change is meant to reduce risks and represents a shift toward more incremental mission design following recent Artemis delays and safety concerns exposed in February. Despite that, experts claim that transportation issues are just one part of the equation.

The latest PwC Lunar Market Assessment also highlights the growing economic importance of the Moon economy, projecting total revenues of $127.3 billion by 2050, and identifies solar energy systems as one of the priority technologies.
