Arnold Machine has been named as an original equipment manufacturer program participant in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork program.

As an OEM Program Participant, Arnold Machine enhances quality and consistency while optimizing costs and reducing waste by building automated systems for automotive, oil and gas and appliance manufacturers, including:

  • automated adhesive dispensing systems;
  • robotic and automated spray systems;
  • automated assembly systems;
  • process heating equipment; and
  • material handling systems.

Kistler to demonstrate robotic measurement solutions at Automate event

Kistler is planning to demonstrate its comprehensive measurement chain for press-fit and joining processes including force sensors, light barriers, maXYmos monitoring units and robotics application at the Automate Show 2019 in Chicago, Illinois, from April 8-11, 2019 at booth 9354.

The increasing network of machines and systems driven by Industry 4.0 calls for efficient and flexible industrial manufacturing solutions. Individual production processes have to be optimized consistently and continuously to remain competitive in the long run.

BMW creates 2,000 jobs as it starts production of new autonomous electric car

BMW’s Dingolfing plant director announces the expansion of e-drive production, as well as preparations for series production of the fully electric and “highly automated” BMW iNext

The mobility of tomorrow is being turned into reality to a large extent in BMW’s Dingolfing production plant, in Lower Bavaria, southern Germany.

Ilka Horstmeier, the new director of the plant, is convinced of this. “We want to, and will, emerge as a winner in our industry’s technological transformation,” she says. “And we will continue to pioneer future topics such as e-mobility and autonomous driving.”

Ottobock to launch ‘smallest exoskeleton in the world’ at Hannover Messe

Ottobock is planning to present a range of innovative new exoskeletons for ergonomic workplaces during the Hannover Messe trade show

Ottobock will be presenting its industrial exoskeletons for the first time at the Hannover Messe trade show.

Visitors to booth G18/1 in hall 17 will have the opportunity to personally test the passive exoskeletons in the Paexo product family and experience the relief they provide.

Alta Equipment acquires Nitco

Alta Equipment has entered into an agreement to purchase Northland Industrial Truck Company, or Nitco.

The acquisition will expand Alta’s business into the New England market, adding full-service materials handling sales operations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine.

Collaborative robot maker Kassow Robots to make its Hannover Messe premiere

Collaborative robot manufacturer Kassow Robots will make its first appearance at the Hannover Messe event this year.

The technology trade fair takes place from 1 to 5 April 2019. It will be the first chance to visit the company’s own booth since Kassow’s market launch at Automatica in Munich last summer.

The e-commerce sector is accelerating the need for droids and drones, according to a new report, which adds that seven in 10 enterprises say e-commerce is also “driving the need for faster field operations”.

Zebra Technologies, a business technology provider, has published the results of its latest vision study on the Future of Field Operations.

The study reveals mobile technology investment is a top priority for 36 percent of organizations and a growing priority for an additional 58 percent to keep up with rapidly evolving and increasing customer demand.
