Körber develops new robotic system for de-palletizing pallets to trays

Körber Supply Chain says it has “solved” the pallet-to-tray issues many warehouses face – the company has developed a new “turnkey system solution” for de-palletizing pallets to trays.

With the launch of a new de-palletization system, Körber Supply Chain claims it has become “the first supplier of automated logistics solutions to offer a total turnkey solution for the separation of goods from pallet to tray”.

Ambi Robotics unveils fleet management and business intelligence platform

Ambi Robotics, a provider of AI-powered robotic parcel sorting systems, has unveiled AmbiAccess, the company’s cloud-based business intelligence platform designed to enable customers to get “even more out of their Robots-as-a-Service investment”.

AmbiAccess provides advanced fleet management capabilities and real-time analytics to optimize operations and maximize efficiency so global shippers and logistics companies can gain visibility into their entire operation.

Ambi Robotics and OSM partner to automate parcel sortation systems

Ambi Robotics, a provider of AI-powered robotic solutions for parcel sorting operations, has agreed a commercial partnership with OSM Worldwide, a global parcel and logistics services company.

Under the partnership, Ambi Robotics will deploy its flagship AmbiSort A-Series system to OSM Worldwide’s warehouse locations in Atlanta, Chicago, and Las Vegas in a minimum four-year Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) agreement.

Recycleye raises additional $17 million in Series A funding

Recycleye, provider of what it claims is “the most adapted and robust AI-driven solution for sorting dry mixed recycling”, has closed a $17 million Series A financing round, led by deep-tech venture capital firm DCVC.

Recycleye uses AI-powered waste-picking robots to lower the cost of sorting materials. This ground-breaking technology is turning the world’s waste into resource and delivering data essential for dynamic decision-making in a Material Recovery Facility (MRF).

Addverb Technologies releases new sorter robot for warehouses

Addverb Technologies, a robotics company providing warehouse automation solutions, has released a new sorter robot called SortIE – a fast-moving scalable solution for rapid and efficient order fulfilment.

FedEx installs sorting robot from DoraBot at e-commerce facility

FedEx Express, a division of global logistics giant FedEx, has installed a sorting robot called “DoraSorter” from a company called DoraBot at one of its facilities in China.

Dorabot, a specialist robotics solution provider for logistics, launched DoraSorter – an AI-powered intelligent sorting robot – in collaboration with FedEx Express.

Prime Vision and VDL bring sorting robots to the US

Geek+ and FDL implement robotic e-commerce operations for Athinaiki

Geek+, a manufacturer of autonomous mobile robots, has installed smart sorting robots in the warehouse of Athinaiki, a logistics and transport service provider specializing in last-mile delivery in Greece.

The solution was implemented in partnership with FDL Group, a leading integrator for supply chain solutions and the exclusive distributor of Geek+ AMR solutions in Greece and Cyprus. It marks the company’s second project in the region.

Jackson Zhang, VP of Geek+ Europe, says: “We are very excited to see our sorting robots provide Athinaiki with the speed and accuracy needed for excellent last-mile delivery services. Ambi Robotics launches ‘multi-robot kitting system’ aimed at e-commerce operations

Ambi Robotics, a developer of robotics systems, has launched AmbiKit, which the company says is “the industry’s first multi-robot kitting system that leverages AI data collection to expedite e-commerce kitting operations”.

AmbiKit automates product bundling for faster delivery, increasing order accuracy and reducing operating costs.

The new kitting system includes a five-robot picking line, currently deployed to augment the pick and place tasks associated with one of today’s fastest growing e-commerce opportunities: online subscription boxes.
