Seoul Robotics establishes office at Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners

Peachtree Corners, a tiny US town which claims to be “one of the world’s first smart cities powered by real-world connected infrastructure and 5G”, has been chosen by Seoul Robotics as a new location for its company.

Seoul Robotics has established its United States office in Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners. The company’s presence in Curiosity Lab will fuel further development of its groundbreaking 3D perception platform, while providing the company with a real-world testing environment along Peachtree Corners’ city streets.

William Muller, vice president of business development for Seoul Robotics, says: “With our 3D smart infrastructure solutions already deployed in areas across the Southeast, establishing an office within Curiosity Lab was the logical next step as we continue to expand our US presence. Stäubli opens new office in Southern California

Stäubli Group, one of the world’s largest industrial and mechatronic solutions providers, has opened the doors of its brand-new office in Cypress, California.

Gerald Vogt, CEO of the Stäubli Group, and members of the executive committee, were present at an event held by the company to mark the milestone.

TTTech Auto expands in China with software platform for automated driving

TTTech Auto, the Austria-based technology company specialising in automotive safety software, is expanding its operations with a dedicated subsidiary in China.

The new TTTech Auto branch in Shanghai will bring its expertise and the series proven safe vehicle software platform, MotionWise, to car manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers and partners to the rapidly developing Chinese automotive market.

TTTech Auto already has a presence in the Chinese market through its joint venture Technomous operated together with SAIC Motor, China’s largest automotive manufacturer. This further expansion, with an office in Shanghai, is part of the growth strategy in light of a $285 million (EUR 250 million) investment from Aptiv and Audi announced earlier this year. Bosch makes $250 million available for startups

Despite the challenging business environment, the Bosch Group is raising its venture-capital funding for the current business year: its subsidiary Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC) is setting up a new fund for startups; the fund has a volume of 250 million euros (approximately $250 million).

As a provider of venture capital, Bosch supports startups around the world whose technologies have the potential to improve quality of life and conserve natural resources.

Electronic component manufacturer Stego expands headquarters

Stego, a manufacturer of electronic components, is expanding its capacity at the group’s headquarters in Schwäbisch Hall, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.

A doubling of warehouse volume for production is already complete. The construction of an office block is now starting. This should be completed by the end of 2023 and provide space for over 70 employees with 1,500 square metres.

RC Mowers breaks ground on new $4.8 million facility

RC Mowers, a manufacturer of remote-operated robotic mowers, has begun construction of a new $4.8 million office and production facility in Green Bay with plans to begin operations there in February 2023.

Michael Brandt, RC Mowers CEO, says: “RC Mowers has doubled our revenue every year since our inception four years ago, and this new facility will alleviate the growing pains we’re experiencing as a result of our success.
