The logistics robots market is expected to expand at a strong compound annual growth rate of 16.5 percent between 2023 and 2033. This is according to a new report by Future Market Insights.

The market is anticipated to cross a market share of $38.13 billion by 2033, while it is likely to be valued at $8.28 billion in 2023.

The proliferated e-commerce sector, along with the integration of advanced technology like artificial intelligence and machine learning, is fueling market growth. Ukrainian startup Deus Robotics secures $1.5 million seed round funding for warehouse robotics solutions

Deus Robotics, a Ukrainian startup specializing in warehouse robotics engineering and software development, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding from SMRK VC, a Ukrainian venture fund.

The investment will help the company attract new customers in the US and Europe and expand its line of robotic warehouse solutions.

Körber develops new robotic system for de-palletizing pallets to trays

Körber Supply Chain says it has “solved” the pallet-to-tray issues many warehouses face – the company has developed a new “turnkey system solution” for de-palletizing pallets to trays.

With the launch of a new de-palletization system, Körber Supply Chain claims it has become “the first supplier of automated logistics solutions to offer a total turnkey solution for the separation of goods from pallet to tray”.

Autonomous logistics startup Venti Technologies raises $28.8 million in Series A funding

Venti Technologies, a provider of autonomous logistics for global supply chain and industrial hubs, has secured $28.8 million in a Series A financing.

The financing round was led by LG Technology Ventures, the Silicon Valley-based venture capital arm of the LG Group, with participation from Safar Partners, UOB Venture Management, and existing investors Alpha JWC and LDV Partners.

DB Schenker opens giant new automated e-commerce logistics hub in Spain

DB Schenker, a supply chain management and logistics service provider, has started operations at one of the largest automated e-commerce facilities servicing its retail customers in Spain, Portugal and France.

Operations in the 50,000 sq meter state-of-the-art warehouse in Guadalajara have started with 150 employees on newly created jobs, more than 200 robots and an optimized packaging system.

The site is equipped with a Goods-to-Person picking system to handle around 55,000 units per day using Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) provided by Geek+, the global leader in AMR technology. The system features innovative pick-and-pack solutions for a fast and flexible online-order fulfillment and efficiently deal with returns. Honeywell opens advanced warehouse automation center in Czech Republic

Honeywell has opened a new research and development center at its advanced technology facility in Brno, a city in the Czech Republic, to help warehouse and logistics companies across Europe enhance their supply chains and strengthen the accuracy, efficiency and throughput of packages.

The state-of-the-art facility will be used by Honeywell’s engineers to develop next-generation warehouse solutions including intelligent conveyor systems, robotics, automatic storage and retrieval systems, sorting systems, palletisers and advanced picking technologies controlled by voice and light commands.

Residents in the United Arab Emirates may soon receive parcels delivered by drones and robots

Aramex, a global provider of logistics and transportation solutions, says it has completed the testing of its drone and roadside robot deliveries in Dubai, one of the seven emirates in the UAE.

This is part of the company’s “Future Delivery Program” aimed at enhancing last-mile logistics using smart shipping solutions to enable quicker, more sustainable, and cost-effective deliveries.

The initial tests were conducted at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in partnership with BARQ EV, a leading commercial drone delivery service provider in the UAE, and Kiwibot, a Colombia-based company specializing in delivery robotics.
