Embodied AI startup Sereact raises €25 million to boost AI-powered robotics

Embodied AI startup Sereact says it is on a “mission to redefine what’s possible with AI-driven robotics”. The company has reached a major milestone by securing €25 million in Series A funding.

The Series A round was led by Creandum, alongside significant participation from existing investors Point Nine and Air Street Capital, as well as prominent business angels, including former Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg, Mehdi Ghissassi (ex Google DeepMind), Ott Kaukver (Skype), Lars Nordwall (ex neo4j), Rubin Ritter (ex Zalando), Torsten Reil, and Niklas Köhler (both Helsing).

Cornerstone Robotics raises over $70 million to commercialize robotic surgery system

Cornerstone Robotics, a developer of surgical robotics, has successfully raised over $70 million in Series C financing led by EQT with participation from Qiming Venture Partners, Alpha JWC Ventures, the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund, eGarden Ventures, CTS Funds, K2VC, Long-Z Capital, and others.

This funding will accelerate the company’s efforts in advancing the commercialization process, developing new surgical robotics products, conducting clinical trials, obtaining regulatory approvals, and promoting global adoption of advanced robotic surgical solutions.

In addition to receiving funding from a group of prominent investors, the Company headquartered in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, also received investment from the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund under the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government. Deus Robotics secures $3 million investment to enable robot interoperability for warehouses

Deus Robotics, a provider of warehouse robotic automation, has closed a $3 million seed funding round led by U.Ventures, with participation from 1991 Ventures, SID Venture Partners, Sigma Software Labs, and SD Capital.

The company offers an end-to-end robotic automation solution consisting of a unique AI platform that enables seamless integration, management, and optimization of robots from any manufacturer, and an advanced fleet of AI-enhanced robots from a variety of manufacturers to meet the majority of warehouse automation needs.

RoboForce raises $10 million to build robots for solar and space industries

Embotech receives $27 million in funding to expand its autonomous tow truck business

Embotech, an innovator in autonomous driving solutions for industrial logistics, has received CHF23.5 million (approximately $27 million) in Series B funding to help the company scale its autonomous tow truck business.

The company calls its solutions “Automated Vehicle Marshalling” (AVM) and “Autonomous Terminal Tractor” (ATT). The plan is to expand in Europe initially, and then in the United States, Middle East, and Asia.

The funding round is led by Emerald Technology Ventures and Yttrium, with additional funds from BMW i Ventures, Nabtesco Technology Ventures, Sustainable Forward Capital Fund, RKK VC and existing investors.

Embotech, short for embedded optimization technologies, has already secured landmark multi-year rollout contracts for its AVM solution in finished vehicle logistics and its ATT solution for port and yard logistics applications. Surgical robotics startup Capstan Medical raises $110 million in new funding

Capstan Medical, a developer of robotic enabled minimally invasive solutions to address heart valve disease, announced today its $110 million Series C to further advance its mission of bringing its innovative structural heart solution to patients.

The round was led by Eclipse, with participation from existing investors Yu Galaxy and Intuitive Ventures, and new investment from Gideon Strategic Partners.

Heart disease has remained the leading cause of death in America for over 100 years, claiming a life every 33 seconds. Vecna Robotics raises additional $14.5 million and appoints new CEO

Vecna Robotics, a specialist in robotic material handling, has raised $14.5 million in additional funding from existing investors.

Proceeds of the funding round are earmarked to accelerate technology and product enhancements to address the automation needs of operators in automotive, general manufacturing, and high-volume warehousing.

Indian robotics startup CynLr raises $10 million Series A funding

Cybernetics Laboratory (CynLr), which describes itself as an “Indian deeptech robotics startup”, has raised $10 million in a fresh round of Series A funding led by Pavestone and Athera Venture Partners (formerly Inventus India).

This new investment brings its total funding to $15.2 million. Existing investors Speciale Invest, Infoedge (Redstart) and others also participated in this round of fundraising.

CynLr will now expand its 60-member core team to a 120-member global team. Along with expanding its research and software-development team, CynLr will be hiring business and operational leaders, marketing and sales teams across India, US and Switzerland. Third Wave Automation closes $27 million Series C funding to scale autonomous forklifts

Third Wave Automation, a provider of autonomous high-reach forklifts, has closed a $27 million Series C round led by Woven Capital, Toyota’s growth fund.

Return investors Innovation Endeavors, Norwest Venture Partners and Qualcomm Ventures joined the round, bringing total capital raised to $97 million.

The funding will enable Third Wave to scale its “Shared Autonomy Platform”, expand manufacturing of its multimode TWA Reach forklifts, and support future technology development that advances the use of autonomous forklifts in and around warehouse environments.
