Edson to debut new robotic cell at Pack Expo

October 8, 2022 by Mark Allinson

Edson, a ProMach brand, is debuting its new KDF Stack Prep System, a robotic cell that automates the infeed area of a case packer, in booth N-5348 at Pack Expo 2022, October 23-26, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Edson is a manufacturer of case and tray packing solutions for the converted paper, diaper, and nonwoven markets.

After stacks are loaded onto the case packer’s infeed conveyors, the KDF (knocked down flat) Stack Prep System prepares the cases by cutting bands and removing dunnage and other cardboard or paper materials used during transportation. The stacks are then straightened, squared, and presented to the case packer. [Read more…] about Edson to debut new robotic cell at Pack Expo

Getting your feet wet in the investment industry is a bit of a complicated process. The first thing you need to do to make your trading process more efficient and beneficial is to find a financial service provider that will furnish you with proper tools, charts, trading platforms, accounts, and so forth.

As the demand for brokers increases as time goes by so does the competition between the financial companies. All of this makes it hard to find the most suitable brokerage for you. On top of that, as the investment space expands more and more scum and fraud cases are skyrocketing.

Investfox.com – a newly launched European startup – comes with solutions. This is a platform that aims to make the investment industry more transparent with the use of both experts and user-generated reviews and in addition to that, the process of choosing the right broker for you can become quite simple for both novice or seasoned traders. June 17, 2022 by Mark Allinson

Ericsson, TIM and Comau say they are testing the “factory of the future” through something called “5G network slicing”.

The three companies have joined forces to develop, on an experimental basis, innovative solutions for Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing by leveraging the potential of the 5G network. This initiative is part of the EU-funded 5Growth project.

Thanks to TIM and Ericsson’s deployment of a 5G network at Comau’s headquarters in Turin (Italy), three new applications have been launched to demonstrate the advantages of the new technology, and in particular those arising from the slicing functionality of the network, within an industrial environment. Getting an Immediate Insurance Check After an Accident

April 25, 2022 by David Edwards

Insurance companies continue to find new ways to pay less than what a person deserves when the victim sustains injuries through no fault of their own.

One tactic these companies use now is to send an insurance check to a claimant in the hopes they will cash it. Once the victim cashes the check, the insurance company doesn’t have to pay this individual any more money.

They argue the person agreed to the settlement amount when they cashed it. How can a victim ensure they get fair compensation for their injuries, and what should they do when they receive this check? [Read more…] about Getting an Immediate Insurance Check After an Accident
