Artificial Intelligence Technology You Can Control From Anywhere

December 5, 2021 by Mai Tao

Innovative technology makes life easier, and we are entering a new phase of the technological era. It is nothing new that LG provides us with the opportunity to experience the most innovative technology at an elite rate.

To live up to its reputation, LG’s Air Conditioner has developed an artificial intelligence (AI) called AI ThinQ, which unlocks the ability to control the AC and more simply use it by speaking through voice.

It enables you to connect to Wifi and use it wisely. It is easy to control your AC even from outside your home. The AI ThinQ technology is one of the smartest technologies Provided by LG and Butterfly Group is the sole distributor for this product in Bangladesh. Micropsi Industries automates ‘fridge sniffing’ with AI-supported robot control system

November 22, 2021 by David Edwards

Micropsi Industries’ artificial intelligence-supported robot control system MIRAI now automates previously manual leak detection for leading global household appliance manufacturers such as BSH Hausgeräte GmbH.

In conjunction with Atec GmbH Automatisierungssoftware, Micropsi offers this leak testing as a complete solution that provides a “quick, reliable, and cost-effective” remedy to manual leak detection tasks and other complex industrial processes, lowering ongoing operating costs and reducing maintenance.

Ronnie Vuine, CEO, Micropsi Industries, says: “AI-driven systems such as MIRAI independently derive solutions in the event of variances such as changing lighting conditions or workpieces whose position or composition deviates. Air taxi winners: Watch orders not investment, says IDTechEx

August 24, 2021 by David Edwards

Air taxi operators are unfazed by the 200 or so organizations designing vertical take-off electric aircraft. The IDTechEx report with the big picture is, Manned Electric Aircraft: Smart City and Regional 2021-2041.

Air taxi operators have placed large orders with a company that models itself on Tesla, entirely making born-electric, conventional take-off, fixed-wing aircraft.

Using extreme lightweighting, efficiency, and aerodynamics, Bye Aerospace has over $250 million of orders for two and four-seaters from air taxi operators and flying schools. It spent only $24 million to have certifiable demonstrators aloft.

Bye is so inundated with orders it has just doubled its prices because the aircraft still cost far less per mile than the polluting traditional equivalents. In the US, 11,000 of those are approaching 50 years old and illegality. Bye deliveries start from 2022. [Read more…] about Air taxi winners: Watch orders not investment, says IDTechEx

Urban air taxi solutions will revolutionize mobility industry, says GlobalData

August 24, 2021 by David Edwards

The race to develop urban air mobility (UAM) solutions has gathered momentum over the past few years even though the concept has been around for decades.

UAM, in particular electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL), has potential benefits such as easing traffic congestion and enables efficient passenger and cargo transportation, says GlobalData, a data and analytics company.

In a global survey (over 500 respondents) conducted by GlobalData between 6 May and 10 May 2021, 35 percent of the respondents stated that they are aware of UAM/flying vehicles, and 34 percent felt that safety and reliability will be the primary drivers for using UAM solutions. BVN and UTS invent robotic 3D-printed air cooling system

June 17, 2021 by David Edwards

BVN Architecture and the University of Technology Sydney have teamed up to design what they say is “the world’s first robotically 3D-printed air-diffusion system”, called “Systems Reef 2”, or SR2.

SR2 reinvents air distribution: replacing steel with recycled plastic, square corners with aerodynamic curves, and large vents with fine pores.

The building sector is responsible for nearly 40 percent of annual global greenhouse gas emissions and SR2 tackles this problem head on. [Read more…] about BVN and UTS invent robotic 3D-printed air cooling system

Tools Guide for Your Heavy-Duty Workshop

June 2, 2021 by David Edwards

Whether you are looking to start the workshop you have always wanted or you want to uplift an existing one, there are a few tools you need to have on your wish list.

If you are a handyman by profession, or you love DIY projects, the most common must-have equipment includes a table saw, radial arm saw, band saw, or a good stud welder, depending on your frequent projects.

Dress-up equipment like a drill press, lathe, and a planer, are essentials every workshop should have. Most projects can be passed only using a drill press, a saw, and proper hand tools. [Read more…] about Tools Guide for Your Heavy-Duty Workshop

How Modernization of Our World Reflects in Our Well-Being

February 16, 2021 by Polly

Modernization of our world is an inevitable process as our everyday needs drive innovation in every field out there.

The thing is, progress is never a straightforward process. It is without a doubt that it improves our lives, but some drawbacks are inevitable. In some cases, new problems arise as well. That being said, what does the full picture say?

Well, it’s hard to say. The consensus on this topic has not been reached, and it is a source of constant debate – among scientists and regular people as well. [Read more…] about How Modernization of Our World Reflects in Our Well-Being

Quality Auditing in the Automotive Industry

January 28, 2021 by Polly

Every industry requires stringent quality control and certification for improved product quality.

The automotive industry is no different. In fact, in particular, the industry cannot afford to miss. Not just for enhanced customer experience but also the safety of the vehicle owners and pedestrians.

When it comes to the automotive industry, standards can become complicated or obsolete real quick as customer expectations frequently change with technology trends and craving for new hanging personalized experiences. [Read more…] about Quality Auditing in the Automotive Industry

Autonomous shuttle market forecast to be worth $18 billion

November 26, 2020 by Sam Francis

The autonomous shuttle market is forecast to be worth $18 billion by IDTechEx, which includes driverless minibuses and small, sidewalk delivery robots in the category.

An increasing number of commercial vehicles are going battery-electric, assisted by battery life of one million miles and ranges of up to 600 miles being imminent. Shenzhen alone has 70,000 electric logistics vehicles.

Next come robot buses, robotrucks and robotaxis with driver elimination reducing cost by intensive use. IDTechEx has a report on the topic, Electric, Hybrid & Fuel Cell Light Commercial Vehicles 2021-2041. [Read more…] about Autonomous shuttle market forecast to be worth $18 billion

Honeywell to provide flight control technology for unmanned cargo plane

November 10, 2020 by Sam Francis

Pipistrel has selected Honeywell’s Compact Fly-By-Wire system for the Nuuva V300 cargo unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), choosing a modern, lightweight, highly capable system with a proven architecture ideally suited for their autonomous cargo UAV.

Fly-by-wire computers act as the “brains” of an aircraft’s flight controls by operating them electronically and can be found inside nearly all large fixed-wing aircraft today.

The compact version from Honeywell has features derived from decades of expertise in fly-by-wire systems for airliners, but it’s much smaller – roughly the size of a paperback book. [Read more…] about Honeywell to provide flight control technology for unmanned cargo plane
