Tekpak Automation to showcase pick-and-place robotic cell at interpack 2026

Tekpak Automation will demonstrate the benefits of robotics for manufacturers across the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries at interpack 2026, with a live working demonstration of a pick-and-place cell on Stand A15/Hall 16.

Tekpak is known for solving complex packaging line challenges with proven, modular automation. Built on over 25 years’ experience supporting pharmaceutical and food manufacturers, its systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with existing lines, fit constrained spaces and enable tool-less changeovers.

Tekpak’s team of experts will be on hand at interpack to showcase the firm’s portfolio of automated packaging solutions. Agile Robots closes acquisition of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering

Agile Robots, a leading provider of AI-powered robotic solutions, has successfully acquired assets of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering in Europe and North America.

Through the acquisition, the Munich-based company is strengthening its position in next-generation automation solutions and is tapping into new growth markets and close partnerships with leading OEMs. The acquisition had initially been announced in November 2025.

Reframe Systems installs robotic-built modular unit as sales hub for Boston innovation center

Reframe Systems, the Massachusetts-based physical AI company innovating homebuilding with robotic microfactories, has partnered with Cabot, Cabot & Forbes (CC&F), a specialist in transit-oriented development for Greater Boston’s new economy workers, to deploy a Reframe unit as the on-site marketing and sales office for The Bolt, a 180,000 SF innovation and manufacturing center currently under construction in Woburn along the New Boston Corridor.

The 554-square-foot Reframe unit, delivered and installed on-site at The Bolt, is serving as a high-end sales and leasing hub for CC&F during The Bolt’s construction period, which is expected to conclude in Q2 2027.

The unit’s interior fixtures and finishes are designed to mirror the quality and aesthetic of The Bolt itself, giving prospective tenants a tangible, immersive experience of the development before a single lease is signed. Florida Polytechnic University partners with Starship Technologies for nation’s ‘first point-of-sale integration’

Florida Polytechnic University’s newest high-tech addition is making dining on campus a little easier, and a lot more fun. With just a few taps on a phone screen, autonomous delivery robots can quickly deliver bagels, burritos, lattes and much more to Phoenixes throughout campus.

Florida Poly’s Phoenix Dining, managed by Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services, is partnering with Starship Technologies to introduce the innovative service. It launches with delivery from Einstein Bros. Bagels, Mosaic Café and Fire & Ash, with plans to expand options in the near future.

Toyota launches ‘Swarm’ automated transport system for warehouse logistics

Toyota Material Handling Europe has introduced a new automated guided vehicle (AGV) system designed to handle a range of warehouse transport tasks and pallet types.

Called Swarm Automation Transport, the system combines the company’s SAI125CB automated counterbalance stacker with its T-ONE control software platform, enabling coordination across automated and mixed fleets.

Vecna Robotics adds voice control to case picking automation with CaseFlow Voice

Vecna Robotics, a provider of flexible material handling automation, has announced CaseFlow Voice, which the company says is the only case picking automation solution with fully integrated voice technology.

CaseFlow Voice embeds Lucas Systems’ “Jennifer” voice capabilities directly into case picking workflows, enabling hands-free operations that improve worker productivity and accuracy while helping warehouses achieve up to 2x throughput improvements.

CaseFlow Voice addresses a critical challenge in operations like cold storage, where gloves, condensation, and limited dexterity make screens and scanners difficult to use. Unitree Robotics files for $610 million IPO as humanoid robot sales surge

Unitree Robotics, which is believed to be the world’s largest humanoid robot maker, has taken a significant step toward going public, filing for an initial public offering on Shanghai’s STAR Market that could raise up to 4.2 billion yuan ($610 million).

The Hangzhou-based company’s IPO application was formally accepted by the Shanghai Stock Exchange on March 20, according to Xinhua Finance. Xinhua is the official state press agency of the People’s Republic of China.

Nature Robots secures €4 million seed funding to scale software for autonomous farming

Nature Robots, a technology company founded in Osnabrück in 2022 and a spin-off of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), has closed a seed financing round totaling €4 million.

Participants in the round include Climentum Capital, Bayern Kapital, and Planetary Impact Ventures. With the fresh capital, the company is scaling its modular autonomy software for agricultural machinery, expanding its team, and establishing an additional location in Munich.

Nature Robots develops software that enables agricultural machinery to operate autonomously in large fields, vegetable farming, viticulture and fruit growing, specialty crops, as well as in agri-photovoltaics and agroforestry systems. Agibot reaches 10,000 humanoid units built as real-world demand for robots accelerates

Agibot, a leading robotics company specializing in embodied intelligence, said it has rolled out its 10,000th humanoid robot, becoming one of the first companies in the industry to reach this milestone at scale.
