Kodiak and Roehl Transport begin autonomous freight operations between Dallas and Houston

Kodiak AI, a provider of physical AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, has announced it is autonomously hauling freight with Roehl Transport, one of America’s leading truckload carriers.

Starting last month, trucks equipped with the Kodiak Driver, Kodiak’s autonomous system, began hauling freight between Dallas and Houston four times roundtrip per week for Roehl Transport.

Bosch begins delivering hardware to Kodiak as autonomous trucking moves toward production scale

Kodiak AI, a provider of physical AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, has announced that Bosch, a global technology and services giant, has begun delivering critical hardware components to Kodiak as part of the companies’ autonomous driving technology strategic collaboration.

Kodiak is actively testing and validating camera samples from Bosch and has completed early prototype sensor integrations into Kodiak SensorPods, the company’s proprietary hardware modules that house its autonomous driving sensors. Kodiak is also actively evaluating vehicle actuation components from Bosch.

Kodiak AI scales autonomous driving with Nvidia Drive Hyperion platform

Kodiak AI, a provider of physical AI with a focus on AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, has announced Nvidia technology will help power Kodiak’s next-generation autonomous-driving solution.

Kodiak intends to accelerate the deployment and scaling of driverless vehicles with the Nvidia Drive Hyperion architecture, a production-ready reference platform that is underpinned by two Nvidia Drive AGX Thor centralized computers.

Built on the Blackwell architecture, Drive AGX Thor delivers up to 1,000 INT8 TOPS / 2,000 FP4 TFLOPS of AI compute. This massive compute headroom is optimized for the latest generative AI, transformer, and Vision Language Models (VLM), enabling the Kodiak Driver to interpret nuanced and unpredictable real-world conditions in real time to enable safe and verifiable driving behavior. Kodiak AI adds Haas Alert’s ‘Safety Cloud’ to its autonomous trucking solution

Haas Alert, a specialist in connected vehicle safety and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) solutions, says that Kodiak AI, a provider of AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, has integrated Haas Alert’s Safety Cloud digital alerting platform into its autonomous trucking solution.

Under this collaboration, Kodiak will utilize Safety Cloud to deliver real-time safety alerts to approaching vehicles and motorists, providing beyond-line-of-sight information to enhance roadway safety.

Safety Cloud sends digital alerts via the cellular network to motorists with informationabout the road ahead. Kodiak to scale autonomous trucking hardware and sensor solution in strategic agreement with Bosch

Kodiak AI, a provider of AI-powered autonomous driving technology, has entered into an agreement with Bosch, a global supplier of technology and services, to collaborate on and scale the manufacturing of a production-grade, redundant autonomous platform.

This platform contains the specialized hardware, firmware, and software interfaces that enable the Kodiak Driver, Kodiak’s AI-powered driver, to automate trucks – either on a vehicle production line or through an upfitter.

Kodiak AI and ZF partner on steering technology for 100 Kodiak-powered driverless trucks

Kodiak AI, a provider of AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, has expanded its long-standing partnership with ZF, a global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and industrial technology.

This expanded partnership includes the purchase of 100 steering systems with redundant components, enabling Kodiak to grow its trucking business. Kodiak began integrating these redundant steering components into Kodiak Driver-equipped trucks earlier in 2025.

Autonomous truck technology company Kodiak to go public tomorrow

Kodiak AI, a provider of AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, today announced that Kodiak Robotics, Inc. successfully completed its business combination with Ares Acquisition Corporation II (NYSE: AACT) (“AACT”), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company.

The business combination was approved by AACT shareholders on September 23, 2025. In connection with the closing, AACT was renamed Kodiak AI, Inc.
