Skyline Robotics and Alimak partner to automate building maintenance for new construction sites globally

Skyline Robotics, a developer of window-cleaning robots for skyscrapers, and Alimak Group have reached a mutually exclusive agreement between the companies to create a “next-generation automated building maintenance unit” setting a new standard for architectural and asset management industries.

Alimak Group’s global expertise in vertical access solutions and Skyline’s deep tech and robotics expertise is a powerful combination in transforming the industry faced with increasingly complex design challenges, labor shortages and best practices.

Mantis Robotics raises $5 million to develop ‘human-centric robots’

Mantis Robotics, a pioneer in “physical AI” for robotic automation, has secured $5 million in new investments led by Emerald Technology Ventures with participation from the Amazon Industrial Innovation Fund.

This cash infusion will enable Mantis Robotics to scale its operations, enhance its product portfolio, and expand its presence in the rapidly growing industrial robotics market.

Mantis has entered the next frontier in robotics by creating the first adaptive, human-centered robots. Badger Technologies opens new office and Jabil Center of Robotics Excellence in Kentucky

Badger Technologies, a product division of Jabil, has announced the grand opening of their new corporate office and Center of Robotics Excellence to accelerate the research, development and delivery of state-of-the-art robotics and retail automation solutions.

The 25,000-square-foot facility includes engineering and research and development labs to support more than 50 engineers; a robotics training and testing area; and a customer ideation center.
